I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

So I found an old Samsung Galaxy S4 that is still working, but I had loaded a Custom Rom on it (Lineage OS). Would I be able to trade it in as is and get whatever the credit is and the extra $700 towards the Galaxy S24? I'm not sure if anyone has ever tried this or traded a phone in to Spectrum (Assurant) and they accept it that had Custom Rom and not Original Samsung OS. Thanks for any answers.
Have you entered the IMEI info into the trade in screen already?

Depends if you need the memory upgrade. I'm only around 80% usage on my S23 and... I basically never delete anything. I know other people take a LOT more photos and videos than I do though.
Personally, I need

but don't you need to wait until phone is released to go to the store and place the order? also might be a case where the $700 promo for trade in might be done by then right?
The $700 promo might still be there but the free memory upgrade will no longer be offered.

You got a refund through a prepaid credit card? Usually you can't transfer funds from a prepaid credit card to a bank account. How did you do this?
Maybe the TV/Internet accounting department is different. It arrived with instructions on how to transfer the balance. That's why I'm asking if anyone has any experience with previous spectrum Mobile refunds and debit cards or checks or prepaid credit cards.

They asked if I wanted a check mailed or a credit to my card on file. They never mentioned anything about a prepaid credit card until that email I screenshot.

For the $30 for two lines, if you already have a free line, I don't believe they will give you a second one. I had tried to do that during the Pixel 8 Pro promo. I think the best deal is get an iphone 6 for cheap on CL or Offerup and then trade that in. You should be able to get an iphone 6 for around $40. It has a trade in value of $705. That is better than trading a premium phone. Sell your premium phone on CL for more. You only get like $200 more trade in credit for a phone you could sell for $300-$400 more on your own.
This is what I had planned but then I realized the risk of getting scammed and the various fees make selling the phone on my own not worth the time/effort.

I had seen that the Galaxy S4 was listed in the drop down under the trades, but I did get that same screen you did. So I take it I can't trade in a S4 yet either way then, right?

I just completed my one year free line a couple of weeks ago. I contacted Spectrum a couple of days ago to see if I could get another promotion for one free line for 12 months and was told I couldn't. However when I canceled my free line two weeks ago, the rep offered to give me another free line for 12 months and I foolishly passed on it. Then this deal popped up a couple of days ago, and I regret not taking the free line again. I'm not sure if she could have done it, I called in a couple of days ago and asked for it and was told there was no way they could do it.

Yesterday, I called again and asked for the promotion for two lines for $30 and was able to order it. You pay $30 for the first line and the second line is free. My sim cards arrived today (BYOD) and I can now pre-order the new Samsung phones. I guess I can setup two orders from what I've read.

Is there any information that the $700 trade in won't end by the end of the month?

I ordered from Samsung trade in on s23u + buds 2 pro for about 519 + 12 c.b. But not sure if will keep, I have the 512 and don't use even 140. Would be a better deal if they paid more like sometimes 900

For those of us looking for a phone to buy in order to take advantage of this deal, previous comments have mentioned the Samsung Galaxy A03s for ~$50 as being a good option, and those are available pretty much everywhere. Is this phone only available as a pre-paid model? I want to make sure I am buying the right one and if it is only pre-paid, that it still qualifies for the deal. Thanks!

Does anyone know when Trade-in promo ends?
Double storage benefits ends by 01/31, but would like to know until when the trade-in offer is available, so I can trade-in in-store than sending to Assurant.

I was in a Spectrum store today and they said they had no idea. I really wanted to trade in at the store also, but who know if the $700 will be available when the stores get them.

OK awesome! Thanks for sharing this - I don't see any fine print on Spectrum's website that says prepaid phones are not eligible, so should be good to go.
