I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.

I just tried with a made up IMEI (35 plus random numbers till accepted).
S22U 5G w/128GB +$913.
I choose "other" for carrier.
Does your phone have a bad IMEI?

Maybe run your IMEI through some online checkers?

It says that a 2nd line is free for 12 months, will that kick in if I were to pre-order a 2nd one? It's still adding $30 for the first month of service to my 2nd order.

Yes, same happened to me when I did not places both the orders at the same time . So I have to call to CC to canceled my first order and she helped me to place the both the orders at the same time on call .
Note : first one is upgrade on existing line and seconds one is new line .

Yes, so along as you order that 2nd Unlimited line with the 2nd order on the same day as the 1st order, the system will register it as good for the $30 for 2 lines BOGO.

Assume i receive the phone on Feb 1st. can i wait till Feb 10th to activate? it will delay the unlock time. Any risks to the trade in value?

AFAIK, trade-in process not connected to activation, you can wait to process trade-in and then activate.
