I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

Unless you're in the military, otherwise your wait is 60 days.

No need to impress anyone that you're sending a brand new phone. Put some finger prints on the screen to make it look like a used phone. These deals are trying to get people turn in their old phones for new phones. Not asking people to buy a new phone to trade in.
Seriously.

I did it last time. But the deal would not be as good as pre-order.

For those who bought a Moto G Play from Walmart, did you send in the phone in its original packaging?
Yup. I even opened it up to verify
Phone worked. In my head i wonder how can assurant lie or mess it up...but hoping the original packaging reduces that risk

Don't do that.
Take it out, make sure it boots up, and fully charge it before sending it.
Sending in original packaging could trip some red flags for future deals.

Good Points. How do I safely pack the phone, because I thought the original packaging was fairly secure?

I verified the phone as well, but I might not use the original packaging based on the advice from the guys above.

Its ok to use the original box. Just remove all plastic wrap and accessories. Put some finger prints on the phone front and back. I usually reuse Amazon bubble envelop to wrap the phone and ship out with a Amazon box. Just make sure you took pictures of the phone. On the dial pad enter *#06#, it will show imei. Take picture of that too. Take video too if you want more evidence. Spectrum tradein is very reliable. Unlike Samsung. I've done hundreds of trade-in deals. Samsung is the only one I have to call to get it fixed.

It seems the trade-in value for the Walmart Moto G Play 2023 has increased to $11.

You have the credit in your spectrum account already from this deal? If your just calling ahead of time you are wasting everyone's time. WHEN the credit shows up you call them and they credit it back to your card.

Not from this deal. It was the pixel 8 pro last year.

You must have gotten a clueless rep and should simply hang up and call back for a decent rep.
