i see now that is indeed the preorder limit, I missed it
some companies have policies against accepted sealed phones. Just don't do it. it has been a problem in the past whenever someone did it.

EDIT: Just got an email saying my order was canceled
EDIT2: Tried placing another order, this time without porting in number. Let's see if that makes a difference.
I asked around my coworkers if they had any old iPhone in the drawer, got a cracked iPhone 8 plus for free(700) and trading in a pixel 8 pro (1100). Hoping to at least break even selling the 2nd one after a few months
I will wait and see if trade in can go through with changed order number.
