I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

One of my brother's orders stuck in the Fraud Protection Team. They say it is a fraud order.

At the store the guy told me that the best is to chose the monthly payment and then pay the phones in full once the trade in credit hits the account. Sounds good to me. Is there anything he may be missing or it can be done that way in your experience?

Everything I've read has said to choose PAY IN FULL.

If you are trading in on the spot, you get the bonus value right then and there.

I would not choose monthly payments, as I've read that the credit would be spread over 36 months, not all at once.

On all other big carrier threads (Vz, Tmo, ATT from carrier) if you choose to finance, all credits are spread over that time which is synonymous with "being on a contract for that time period".

Spectrum might be different, but I honestly don't think they are.

I don't think you get the full credit at once. It will be divided in 36 months. Pay in full you'll get full credit.

They don't have the phone at the store and they didn't take the trade in ones. It's the exact same process. You pay the fees at the store but they still sending them to your address and you still have to mail the trade in one's 🤷🏾

Just did two trades at the store. In and out within 20mins. Yes, I lost the storage upgrade but I would rather live with instant trade in vs shipping the device trade in

Some people have reported performing this deal multiple times with just 2 lines.

Can anyone speak to that?

Do I just go in and say "hey, I'd like to trade in these phones and do upgrades on existing lines that I just opened yesterday"?

Yes? The kine is new but not the phones. You want to upgrade the phones not the lines.
I made 5 trade ins so far with one internet account and one mobile.

Wouldn't that affect the unlocking process of the phones?

Nope, if you have two lines with them you should be able to upgrade the phones without any issue. I did upgrade my s23 ultra for the s24 ultra without any problems

Seems like you can either get the full refund or over 36 months. This is from the official page
"Your offer may be adjusted based on the condition of your device. If you accept the offer, you'll either receive a credit in the form of a refund to the same credit card you used to purchase the new device or it can be applied to your Device Payment Plan. If you decline the offer, Assurant will mail your device back to you. If your adjusted offer is $0, you will no longer receive a promotional credit for your trade-in device"

Thats not what I meant. Let say I buy one line with S24, trading an old phone. Can you upgrade the same line next day for s24 again?
