Send the STright Talk your IMEI and purchase receipt they will activate it and process it.
I am sure for that...
If it gets lost or damaged in transit, only going to be covered for $100. Which is crap, considering my phone (256GB S22+) is in mint condition, unlocked, and probably worth at least $500.
Hope all goes well. Have done plenty of trade-ins with Samsung, but it's always a crapshoot when shipping anything in for trade in.
Starting to regret not just going to the store and getting my phone, since the double storage is not worth this headache (but too late for that, as I ordered before people started reporting rejected trade-ins and backed up deliveries.
Which if you paid less than $100 for the phone isn't a big deal, but if you paid more you're going to be out the difference between what your phone is worth and $100. Which could be a sizeable amount. Then on top of that you could potentially be stuck with the S24/S24+/S24 Ultra if the 14-day return window closes.

Get involved Postmaster General, and the State Attorney General's office ( they will fight for you and get paid from Assurant/Spectrum). File a complaint to the FCC/FTC too they will get involved. it is just time you have to spend to file a complaint and Spectrum/Assurant wants to resolve it ASAP else they will find more issues and open a broad investigation. Telling you after personal experience...

I don't think I've ever shipped something and put so much care/time into the process. And I've shipped hundreds of packages over the years.
Made sure the lithium battery label was in color, made sure the label was readable, included duplicates of the scan code receipt for Assurant in the box, packed it like it's extremely fragile (i.e. lots of packing material), taped it up super nice, etc. Then the pictures (so many pictures) and half a dozen or more videos.

I personally just did not expect that USPS would not properly process and scan deliveries in mass, while Assurant is also having delays, resulting in massive amounts of packages at destination not being marked as delivered and pushing people out of the 14 day return window without any information. If I had known that, I definitely would not have made the purchase. I had a smooth experience with my previous trade in without any of these issues.
