I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

Mailed trade-in note4 Jan 22. Arrived Texas Jan 25.as of Feb 6 usps tracking, in transit. Contacted usps and created incident number on Feb 1, was told to give them 3 business days to investigate. Recieved usps email Feb 5 titled "your usps service request has been resolved! ". The email then told me the item is irretrievably lost and I may file a claim and also to contact my service provider t mobile so they can track my device's imei thru assurant. I do not have t mobile. Called spectrum, gave all the info, seemingly to dead end ,and was told to file usps claim. This morning Feb 6 received assurant email stating device recieved and inspected. $705

For those stuck in Coppell, I got email this morning that trade in was inspected and receiving expected credit.
My first has been stuck in Coppell according to USPS since 1/31. My second one shipped much later shows delivered 2/2 with spectrum/Assurant email saying they received it. Second phone also inspected this morning (or at least email received about it) with expected credit.

Neither credit has posted to account but I have email confirmations and feel better about it. Good luck to all those stuck in Coppell. There is hope!

I went through the exact experience and also got an email this morning stating my trade in has been accepted and inspected. Both USPS and Spectrum trade in portal is still showing "In Transit". Seems like they are marking these completed without updating the status in the trade in portal page.

Yes, it's a miracle! Today was cutoff for the return period for me and luckily received the credit e-mail this morning also.

Like others, USPS still shows as in transit for several days without update and the Assurant tracking site still shows in transit. I personally am going to file a complaint as planned with the Inspector General because USPS should not be delivering packages without the delivery scan. We are talking hundreds/thousands of packages containing electronics that are effectively lost as far as USPS is concerned. People here even posting about how they were told their package is lost by USPS and they have to start going down the lost package pathway. Whatever congestion issues they are facing, they should still do proper delivery scans of the packages. If USPS had just notified us that our packages were delivered to Assurant a week ago then it would have saved a lot of headaches for people.

edit: USPS still not showing as delivered but Assurant site now showing received yesterday and trade in confirmed.

Are you guys able to replicate the deal at Spectrum store? I understand you will not get the storage upgrade but wondering if you had any luck for those who commented they were going to the stores.

People have reported doing it in store, the main limit will just be if you store does not have the device you want in stock. Just be sure to bring in your trade in to the store.

I received the email saying my trade has been approved and the device has passed the inspection and my trade credit is confirmed. It says I should see the fund within 2 billing cycles and if I don't contact them. Do I just wait or can I contact them now to get my refund?

Also, I guess the imei doesn't really matter. Entered the wrong imei for my s22 trade in and realized it too late (it still was an s22 imei just the wrong one was sent in). Contacted support but they couldn't do anything about it and it was still approved.

after this fiasco with USPS and Assurant, I most definitely would enter correct IMEI next time to avoid any rejection if possible
