My Spectrum Haul:
S23 x 2
Galaxy Z Fold5 x 2
Pixel 8 Pro x 3
S24 x 2
S24+ x 3
S24 Ultra
Never used the lines for anything.
Definitely conflicted though as I really like the S24+ and the extra storage makes the choice more difficult.

the rep didn't even care when I was trading in S24 to S24/+ or ultra at all,
here's sum up from my runs:
open account with 2 lines for $29.99 (buy one get one plan), traded in 2 phones for 2xs24, paid total about $314 on 2/17....
today 2/20, went back to the same store, told them I would like to upgrade my 2 phones by traded 2xs24 to 1xs24+, the promo and credit covered the S24+, so ended up getting about $7.51 credit refunded back to the credit card.
another S24 traded in to 1xs24 ultra, with promo and credit, still had to pay $215+tax...
even with lines' upgrading, the trade in value and credit, the tax still based on the full phones' price, so the S24u's tax is exactly $100.75 for my case, I am in S. CA.
no wonder people keep going back to do the trading, it is indeed a money maker if spectrum didn't catch up and if stores are willing to let customer doing it, I don't see why not.
There's actually nothing to "catch". We don't know what kind of monies Spectrum is making on the backend for these trade-in deals. There could be marketing budgets, trade in targets, new customer targets, Samsung kickbacks, etc. Could be a million things. Store reps get a commission/spiff for each upgrade you do so they are incentivized to process your trade-in. My store rep told me he gets $4/trade-in.

Still waiting for one of my pre-order S24 Gray from 1/30. Anyone in same boat?
