Give them a call or chat. They see it on the back end. But this agent was unwilling to give me immediate refund, saying refund has to be at the end of the billing cycle. I'll try someone else.
Thanks chat worked for me and they were able to see the balance amount and refunded, but i see same amount added to my next bill as due. As @gibsonbass mentioned below, hopefully it will cancel out.

Yes, my bill auto updated to the correct amount once the new billing period started ( that was yesterday).
Thanks.

I tried in 3 separate stores today in Austin, all of them rejected the trade in.

couple of stores rejected saying phone is still locked whereas one store was just bluffing that they were not able to pull my account or my account was locked.
What phone were you trying to trade in? How did they test if the phone was locked?

Funny that's how my problem is dealt at the moment. Pre-order got cancelled without my knowledge and my trade in has been approved since 2/7/2024. They claim a demographic email was send out which I never received (check both spam). They couldn't just re-order for me and applied the credit, asked that I ask assurant for the phone. I asked to speak with a supervisor, supervisor said since Assurant has completed the trade in with the promotion credit, it should reflect back in two billing cycles (I said base on experience, the promotion should reflect in couple days). and what if I don't get the credit by then, supervisor said to call back and they will put a note on system. The line that I pre-order with is currently on hold and they probably say something down the road the line needs to be active. Honestly, I don't really care for trade in at this point and this will just give me an excuse to cancel their plan after everything.
I am also similar situation, trade-in approved, order never delivered, for some reason order is archived. Rep told me, they can credit $60 to my account and they never did, just lied.

Today, I received a Walmart Moto G Play from Assurant. I sent the phone with a SIM card, but they removed it. So, when you press start, it shows "Locked device. Your device is locked by your carrier. Please insert a valid SIM card. Follow the animated instructions to insert your SIM card." It's impossible for them to access the home screen and view the IMEI. I don't know why they removed the SIM; a bunch of idiots. I will take the phone for an in-store deal tomorrow.

After a week sitting in a facility in Texas my phone was finally delivered and inspected, with trade-in approved almost instantly.
From the date of delivery, how many days it took for you to tradin and approval?

Assurant received my device but assessment adjusted showing lower storage version. I have the original box showing the correct storage for the IMEI. Has anybody had this situation? Will Assurant correct their mistake or am I basically stuck having to accept their fraudulent assessment if I do not want to have my trade/promo in cancelled? I have scrolled through this post and am not seeing people reporting Assurant adjusting their quotes even if erroneous.

In store trade in. If credit is more than the price, do I get extra credit ( I think it can not offset tax, can it)? Thanks

This is in NY state so your state might differ, I just did Razr+ trade in and gave S24.

Phone cost $800 + $64 tax.
Trade in phone value $385 and $800 in bonus credit.

At store, the $800 in bonus credit cancelled the cost. And also came a tax refund for $64. So the extra $385 was credited back Spectrum account. You chat in and get it back to your card (look in this thread people have posted on what you need to do)

I traded in Note 4 which Assurant received on Feb 4. Haven't received any email from Assurant yet, the portal still shows the status - "Your device was received at our warehouse on 02/04/2024. It should be assessed by 02/07/2024." I tried to email the Assurant team but no help so far. I just got a lame reply "Sent over to warehouse for further investigation".

Was anyone able to successfully trade in Note 4? Device is fine in working condition.

A15 can be setup without SIM card, I guess problem with Moto G Play is without valid SIM card, you can't get to home screen.

I have all of that. What I am asking is if anybody has had any success in getting Assurant to change their evaluation in a similar situation or if I am just going to end up wasting time and they will still just give me the option to accept or reject their revised offer. Everything is correct except they lowered the storage from the correct amount to lower amount. I have read several pages of this thread and nobody seems to have any success getting Assurant to revise their assessments even with all the proof.

I remember someone on one of these Spectrum posts had the same issue, but it was a $15/20 difference so they let it go...
