Don't all the S24 models have flat screens?
All s23u and below have curve screen. Now s24u has flat screen.

You asked and that's what I like about s24u, you don't have to like it, just compare what you have and what you would like to have in your phones and see if it's worthy for you to upgrade

I like to hold my phone in one hand and the s24u sharper corner digs into it. Plus don't use the s pen and only 0.1" screen size difference, so the 300 savings is more good food for me and spent on accessories for the s24 plus to support DEX. Folks forget that the s24 plus has the same QHD screen quality as s24u now. Only screen different is the anti glare on s24u which can easily be solved by a $10 screen protector

Yep, I moved from S23U to S24+, I like it for same reasons, don't use stylus much and extra cam not a big deal for me.

I bought my mother an S24 and and put it on my free Spectrum line. She wants to go back to an iPhone. If I replace the Samsung with an Apple, can I still get Spectrum to unlock the S24 after 60 days?

I did the S24 > S24+ trade in online. Does anyone know if I can take the S24+ to the store to do a subsequent trade in while the original S24 is still being processed by Assurant? Or is that going to screw up my trade in that is with Assurant?

For those who had issues with the Note 4 trade-in:

I just received a positive response from Assurant. See below. I asked them to verify again as I've received numerous e-mails regarding $0 and they said to disregard those $0 e-mails. I'll wait for the credit (not sure how long that typically takes) before closing out my complaints with BBB, FTC, FCC and AG.

"Thank you for reaching out to us. I was able to confirm this trade was Auto-Accepted. The confirmed value of your trade-in for $701, including any applicable promotional value, will be refunded to the credit card you have on file within two billing cycles from the date processed. If the customer is financing a new device, the trade-in credit will be applied within two billing cycles, through the term of the payment plan."

As long as device activated on that line and fully paid off, you should be able to get it unlocked after 60 days. It doesn't matter if you switch in between to another device.

This is inconsistent with what Spectrum customer service has been telling most people. People have been told that the device has to be active on the line for 60 days and that is what the system checks for. Active does not mean you have to use the device but the device has to be the one associated with the line. If you have contacted and been told something different the please let us know. Spectrum customer service is notoriously unreliable. However, do not be surprised if you cannot unlock a device unless you have had it associated with the line for 60 days.

hahaha found an old iphone with a broken screen and traded it in today for another s24! traded in value was $1 + 700 promo towards the s24. broken screen, yes. water dmg, no. phone screen still works, yup.

Check online first before heading into the store as it has to have $1 value I recalled.

That's what I thought too.
But someone upgraded a line and the same line again and again like 3 or 4 phones, how can those phones got unlocked after 60 days? They claimed that they all got unlocked...

You should have done it to razr+ first and then to s24...that way you even make some $

Do we have consensus on how many in store trades we can do per line before getting blocked? I just did my second store trade in today successfully but wonder if I could do one or two more. I started with a Moto burner for Moto RAZR+ online trade, then traded for S24 in store, then finally for S24+ in store today. That's one online trade and two in store trades on the same line. I think I'm on the cusp of getting blocked soon. Anyone have more data points?
