I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

It depends on what their revised offer is. If the offer is $0 then reject it and request the phone back. But if they are still giving you the $700 but instead of you getting the additional $30 for the phone so say $730 total they are instead only providing $15 so $715, I would accept. It is not worth the hassle and based on previous posts assurant will do nothing to change there assessment position nor spectrum. Plus you would lose out on alot more than that $15 difference if you return ect.
I agree with your sentiment. Specifically I am referring to revised trade in value of $1+. Does the credit then process within a day like when the phone is normally accepted? I am wondering anybody who has done so can post their experience.

Are you surprised no buyers want your spectrum locked phone? Promising someone you will unlock it after they pay you for the phone isn't convincing them?

Assurant or Spectrum?, the email stating they received the phone came from assurant and refund notice. If spectrum, they are not helpful, I would next try emailing that email address posted eariler for assurant, asking for an update. And if nothing, then file a complaint with the attorney general ect. Filing a chargeback would be last resort but if the above fails thats a good route.
I've been communicating with spectrum the whole time on the returns process. I didn't know that our favorite enemy Assurant was also involved in returns. When you requested the return, did you get your label from Assurant (similar to the trade in) or directly from FedEx? I got a FedEx label directly from FedEx after requesting the return with spectrum.

yes, this is extremely helpful, thank you so much.
when doing the upgrade in stores, they do activate the phones right there, and made some test calls, so those phones would be activated for a day or two at least.
thanks again. I am thinking to do a final trade in for my 2 lines but just trading in 2 cheap phones for 2xs24 or S24+
In stores or online for the trade-ins?

I like to hold my phone in one hand and the s24u sharper corner digs into it. Plus don't use the s pen and only 0.1" screen size difference, so the 300 savings is more good food for me and spent on accessories for the s24 plus to support DEX. Folks forget that the s24 plus has the same QHD screen quality as s24u now. Only screen different is the anti glare on s24u which can easily be solved by a $10 screen protector
There's a huge difference in camera quality between the Plus and Ultra though. Plus has 50MP while Ultra has 200MP. The zoomed photos from the Ultra are going to be way more clear.

Latest update on my returns saga. Spectrum contacted the warehouse and said the box they received was empty Confused. So now I have to wait for Assurant to contact me for next steps, possibly a claim with Fedex. This is getting really weird and twisted. Meanwhile, I wanted to close down this line since my bill cycle is coming up in a few days. Rep suggested I keep it open while the missing returns claim is processed. Not sure how this will all play out but I better not be out $1k for a phone.

When you mailed the box in the first place, wouldn't it have been weighed or something? If there's a weight, it would be obvious that it wasn't empty when you mailed it (unless your phone is feather light or something).

Nice. The reps didn't give you any trouble? Some stores have reps that deny additional trade ins because they say you already took advantage of the trade-in offer this time around.

not at all, total 3 reps helped me and no questions asked.
first rep helped me opened the account with 2 lines and traded in saw me doing the 2nd upgrading and just say hi to me and I said the phone just too small and wanted a bigger phone and the rep helped me doing the 2nd upgraded asked nothing but asked me what color and storage I want and went through all smoothly.

Spectrum killed the value of the S24 line. S24s on secondary market are already selling for nearly 20% lower price than the S23 line even in the middle of last year. Imagine how much value will tank in 60 days when people who hoarded these unlock and dump.

Curious to see if they extend the deal out for several months like they did last year. People might regret rushing to the store to get their accounts banned this month.

Funny that's how my problem is dealt at the moment. Pre-order got cancelled without my knowledge and my trade in has been approved since 2/7/2024. They claim a demographic email was send out which I never received (check both spam). They couldn't just re-order for me and applied the credit, asked that I ask assurant for the phone. I asked to speak with a supervisor, supervisor said since Assurant has completed the trade in with the promotion credit, it should reflect back in two billing cycles (I said base on experience, the promotion should reflect in couple days). and what if I don't get the credit by then, supervisor said to call back and they will put a note on system. The line that I pre-order with is currently on hold and they probably say something down the road the line needs to be active. Honestly, I don't really care for trade in at this point and this will just give me an excuse to cancel their plan after everything.
Just to update my case status for reference. I haven't done anything prior to this conversation to the supervisor regards to my order being cancelled and I even got an email afterward saying my order is cancelled. Now out of the blue today, I received an order confirmation of my order being shipped, and had a pending charge on my CC. Now, I wonder how the system is going to credit my trade in promo credit given that normally, they charge my device first, then once they get my trade in and approves it, the credit should reflect in couple days. Now, since they already approved the trade in credit back in 2/7 (never got the credits back to my account). Wonder if this will make it difficult to get instant credit, else I'm just going to return the device unopen and eat the lost of the trade in which I had originally planned.

TLDR: Pre-Ordered 1/29, shipped trade in (inspected and approved), phone never shipped till today 2/28/24, spoke to rep/supervisor around middle of 2/20 ish saying order somehow got cancelled. Now the order is being shipped out of the blue. Spectrum system is sh*t in terms of communicating with each other, no one know what is going on and just throw stories to cover their assess.
