Another data point. Assistant replied to my inquiry and said it can take up to 10 biz days from received date to assess. I think I made a mistake by sending the S24 with all original box and manuals. They may think it's a brand new unit and inquiring why people are trading in brand new latest flagship phones.

I sent mine on original box. No problems. Box was opened and taped back up before placing in shipping box. They see too many phones to care about who sends what and why.
Yeah, Assurant is not Spectrum. Assurant makes money flipping used phones so I am sure they are happy for people to hand over brand new S24s to them for half retail price.

Thanks. I am just wondering why it's taking them almost 10 calendar days since my first trade-in of an older phone, 10e, took only 4 calendar days.

My device was delivered on 2/26. As yet no refund. How can I contact Assurant?

It seems like they have a lot of logistical issues where sometimes they are evaluating newer packages before older. If it is beyond your estimated assessment date then you can send them an e-mail. It seems they just send a generic response back saying they are working quickly and it can take a couple of weeks, but if you want to at least have some documentation going.

My device was delivered to them on Feb 5th and no assessment. I've been going back and forth with email support. It seems that they have lost track of my device. I did include the proper paperwork inside the package as well as on the outside, and have video showing all of this.

I am supposed to get another reply today, I will post a followup here.

If the device is delivered and they can't find it, it is on them right? They should give credit without asking any questions.

In theory of course, but my question is at what point can I convince them to give up and admit they lost it. At least email support has been getting back to me so I have some sort of communication channel open.

Does Assurant admit to receiving phone or just USPS show delivery?
Did you go through the link in the Spectrum email that says we are ready for your phone trade-in?

Yes the Assurant status page shows that they received it, and email support confirmed that it was received.

I am thinking mine also probably will end up in that situation, delivered 25th and supposedly completed by 27th, since then not updated. Please keep us posted whatever happens, hopefully they will resolve soon instead of going thru FCC route.

I think they "lost" my phone too. It's suspicious that they can lose all those S24s that were delivered around that time.
