I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.

Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

I think they "lost" my phone too. It's suspicious that they can lose all those S24s that were delivered around that time.
I think it is more likely they are just behind and stack new boxes in front of old ones so some of the old ones are not being processed yet. At least this seemed to have been the case a few weeks ago. At some point, though, I agree that the liability falls on them to honor the credit once the device has been delivered to them even if they cannot find the box. They cannot just indefinitely delay assessment of a received trade in.

Has it happened to anyone in the past where Assurant lost the phone? I don't know what the process is. I sent an email to Assurant yesterday for a status update but hasn't seen anything yet.

The trade in phone was delivered to them on Feb 24th, since then no update. When I talk to spectrum they said I created a return request and cancelled so the trade in credit program got effected but they said I should get a refund in 2-3 billing cycles. When I asked about trade in assessment status they don't have an answer for it. Did you create any return request and cancelled later?

Return initiation shouldn't affect trade in assessment and credit. Someone else on here did the same and received full assessment credit and then cancelled his/her return request after.

Add me to the list of unusual things with Assurant. Package delivered yesterday, updated as delivered in Assurant system, then today get random update from USPS saying package was refused and return to sender. So shows as delivered in USPS system yesterday and then today shows as refused. Not sure what is going on. Especially confusing because on the Assurant label the ship to and return address are both Assurant. Are they returning it to themself?

My trade in phone just got delivered. Reading the comments, I am worried that it will take them to evaluate my phone. I wonder if trade in is not completed within the return period

With seemingly longer assessment time from Assurant, it will probably take longer than 14 days (your return period). However, it shouldn't matter to your trade-in credit.

What if they reject the trade in phone after the end of return period?

Mine was delivered on the 2/22, with an assessment date of 2/24. Still no assessment. Emailed them yesterday, they responded back saying that they have sent an inquiry to warehouse management to see if they could locate the device.
