I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.

Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

Joining the club. Initially 3 days delay in delivering(while the package is at the destination) and no update on the assessment(been more than 10 days). Too much hassle.

Assurant and USPS websites both say package was delivered in 4 days. Assurant website says assessment should be done in 2 days.

I haven't opened the phone due to Assurant taking time to assess my trade-in phone. Just in case if they reject the trade-in, I want to return the phone unopened to avoid the restocking fee

If I cancel my 2 lines ($15 each line), can I still request to unlock my phone after 60 days? I added these lines just to take advantage of the sale and don't want to pay another month of service that I don't really use.

Shot them an email for an update last night (showed it was delivered a week ago) and just received the following response this morning:

"Thank you for contacting us. I am so sorry for the delay. Unfortunately, there is a current backlog in the Warehouse with getting devices scanned in. At this time, we are asking for 10-15 business days to get the device attached to the trade-in. Once the device is received, the customer will receive a confirmation email regarding the device received, and adjusted offer, if any."

Sounds like they're at least 2-3 weeks backlogged and way behind in processing any packages received.

I am worried , by that time, battery will be depleted to zero, in that case they might value $0 for trade in phone

According to Spectrum Terms and Conditions. The phone should be active on Spectrum for 60 days. No Exceptation.

So the choice is yours.

They will charge it to ensure it can hold charge, as long as it can charge, should be fine.

I've previously read that the return period is only 14 days, so at this point it probably won't be assessed within the return period.

Most are probably hoping, but not expecting, they get the full value, unless they sent in a new phone.

As long as they receive the +$700 bonus, most will probably be ok with any trade-in value.

Whoever did the previous spectrum deals - can we expect the $700 extra trade in credit to resurface again anytime soon?

I sure hope so, ready to trade in for king fish S24 Ultra.
Hopefully Spectrum needs phone/phone line sales and Assurant gets caught up on processing trade-ins...
