For those who wanted to buy this in the LG website. You can use code HE3F2FE for additional 10% percent discount. It will bring down the price to $337.04.

I am not sure if the code is one-time use.

I never had a gaming PC, but will this take advantage of PS5 and play all resolution on high?

PS5 is capable of 4k. This monitor is only capable of max 2k resolution.

Does this one have issue with DP port being disconnected in standby? I got different model on BF sale and can't use it in multi-monitor setup, all my windows are moving to secondary monitor when computer wakes up. Searching the internet, it seems LG monitors are plagued with this issue. I have Samsung, Asus, Acer, AOC monitors and non have this issue.
I've had this monitor for about a month now and haven't had any such issue. Second monitor is also a LG 1440p on a AMD 7900xt.

Not sure why you're downvoted. There's probably not a fan in it (some monitors have one but I couldn't find if this one does), but it's likely you're hearing what people call "coil whine". It happens with monitors. Sometimes the electronic components of a monitor put off an audible sound for some people. Sometimes people return and replace until they find one without a whine.

Thanks. This monitor is perfect otherwise. But I can't with the buzz since rest of my gear is dead quiet

I have had this for several months and have had other LG monitors. I really like their screens in general so take my thoughts into consideration.

Pros
-looks great
-240hz is great but honestly not much different from 165hz or even 144hz and that is coming from someone who constantly buys into better specs.
-colors and view angle are great but not as good as some of their other displays. Most likely you will never tell the difference.

Cons
- I run the monitors between a work computer and personal. The menu buttons to change inputs is slower than their old UI

-I haven't measured energy usage, but if you live in an expensive energy area just know 240hz uses more energy.

Overall I am running it on hdmi which is unusual for me, but I couldn't get the displayport to give me the full 240hz. I might be odd. I am running 100 foot fiber optic cords so my computer can be in a different room where I hear no sound from it.

I have this exact monitor as my second monitor and a lg Ultrawide 34gp83a as my main. Had some issues at first like small static lines on this monitor I turned on hdr and all that fixed. Next problem was this monitor kept refreshing anytime I'd minimize anything on my main monitor. Was weird almost returned it, had to have hdr turned on on both monitors for the refreshing to stop. So far after that it works great.

I say it's worth it hdmi 2.1 1440p ips 240hz for $350 is a deal was sold out during Black Friday and just restocked at this price.

while i don't have this exact monitor i use their 4k 144hz 27" monitor for my main and another 27" 1440p monitor as a second since 2020. So far there has been no issues and if i were to upgrade, i'd definitely get another LG monitor. My only gripe with LG is their software that controls the RGB LED (doesnt apply to this monitor) but not a deal breaker at all. So far no dead pixels or burn-ins despite my pc running 24/7.

What OS? It might be Windows 10 related.
