Shipping and all that stuff was great.
I live in Northern FL which is in the zone for this tree.
Had the first one die. Filed a warranty claim and even though it was a little past the expiration they honored that.
That one died too.
Company is great- would and have done business with them again. Not saying they ship bad avocado trees but I've had 0 luck with them. Would love to try again but I'm not sure why I expect a different result.
I tried an avocado tree once (not from FGT) and it did not make it through the winter, even bringing it inside my garage. I think avocados are just finicky in general.

According to the website it can take 20 degrees.
You can find vendors that do ship to California, but they need to have the trees inspected and some firms do not want to pay for that.
Along with citrus and avocado being available at your local Home Depot.
Note that the minimum wage is for large corporations only. Just go to a locally owned restaurant.
