Worked great during a few blackouts here in metro Detroit so far. Runs my lights, internet, TV, electronics etc., and probably the microwave if I'm careful enough. I've idled it through the night without issue.
Manual says E10 is okay so that's what I run, just need to keep up on maintenance. make sure to follow the oil change guidance, and set the fuel switch to off and run it until the carb is empty before you put it away.

If you are running a business at the farmer's market or another place where noise reduction and quality is imperative, then I can see this being you jam, but keep in mind this machine is only about 5 db quieter than some of the knock offs on the market.
This.
I had an EU2000i and the world has changed beneath it. Reliable, compact, lightweight quiet generators can be had for 1/2 this cost or even less on sale. The option of propane for a similar size/weight genset is a major maintenance advantage.

48lb Wen vs 47lb Honda; 52dB quarter load Wen vs 47-58dB Honda.
There is a lighter, cheaper gas only Wen also. Champion has very similar units.
Remember to run it out every year and it will be fine.

Some recommendations
1)don't let gas sit in it for a long time. Ie after 30 days, run it dry or empty it.
2)don't put old gas in it.
I have a Westinghouse version of this at 2200 watts and won't leave fuel in it.
Also have a bigger champion inverter 8700 watts that I do leave some gas in. However it ethanol feee and I always turn the fuel shut off switch to off and run it until carb is dry and generator turns off.
I also run both generators every 2-4 months for 10-15 mins.
However, in terms of inversion generators the style they sell at Harbor Freight are FAR worse than Honda products if they sit.
On a side note, you can let your Briggs and Stratton sit for a few years and it will still run just not perfectly. But unlike Honda and Harbor Freight it actually starts...
I have a gas-powered furnace to heat the home. But it needs electricity to run the heater blower/fan. Can this be used to power the fan using the technique explained by this gentleman on his youtube channel?

I have gas furnance which uses 150-200 running watts. Starting watts is 450 or so. 3 ton 2 stage heat/AC
Tested using KillAWatt. My furnance is plugged in vs hard wired for this very reason.
I now have a bigger 30amp generator with transfer switch at the house, but prior to that running an extension cord from gas furnance to my Westinghouse 2200 was my heat solution. I also physically tested this out. Works perfectly.
Honda is much much better than Westinghouse. More expensive, but Honda are the best generators on the market.
