It doesn't "gum up" The ethanol arnd gasoline seperate from sitting and a layer of water forms between them, the water and Ethanol feed a specific bacteria that forms very corrosive acid and such which eats through rubber hoses, melts fiberglass, and with aluminum carbs, heads, etc it eats the coating off and corrodes the metal. The oxidation is so puffy (it is nasty puffed up crust) that nothing flows. It is "rust" but from aluminum. Trust if it were "gummed up" you could simply run fresh gas and carb cleaner through it and restore it to health. The acid literally destroys the parts requiring replacement. This begins about 2-3 weeks after you purchase the fuel. Stabilizer does not inhibit this, it slows it but it doesn't neutralize the effect.

Comes up as $899 with veteran account. Damn good deal, but I have one of the older models without bluetooth already.

Worked great during a few blackouts here in metro Detroit so far. Runs my lights, internet, TV, electronics etc., and probably the microwave if I'm careful enough. I've idled it through the night without issue.

Manual says E10 is okay so that's what I run, just need to keep up on maintenance. make sure to follow the oil change guidance, and set the fuel switch to off and run it until the carb is empty before you put it away.

They make conversation kits for these generators, but I wouldn't bother. Just use gas.
Remember to run it out every year and it will be fine.
Right, LP operation reduces power too much on small generators. But...

Your advice to "run it ( the gasoline ) out every year and it will be fine" is contradicted in every generator and small engine manual.

When not used for more than 30 days the fuel system must be completely drained and dried. A drain screw is provided on the carburetor bowl for this purpose. Fuel remains in the bowl, tank and fuel line after the engine stops from lack of sufficient fuel. Any ethanol in the fuel substantially increases the frequency of needed draining. Draining is very easy to perform.

People who claim that "they have no problem" are unaware of engine damage which they are causing by running overly lean from a partially clogged carburetor. Beyond engine damage they are wasting fuel and are not getting full power.

Stabil helps but is not a substitute for factory recommended maintenance. Even the rare pump that claims to offer ethanol-free fuel testing shows the presence of ethanol. This is often because 1/2 gallon remains in the hose from the person who pumped ahead of you.

Title is wrong and misleading. It says remote start. They are remote stop only. No electric starter.

Other than that these are fantastic generators. When you're at the race track and there's a hundred generators running these are the quietest and most reliable. If they had an electric remote start one I'd buy it instantly not because of them being hard to start but for pure convenience. We park all the generators away from our pit so when you roll in and throw the warmers on I have a generator I can just tap a button and have it started up before I even take my leathers off so I never forget.

I really despise living in California. Just keeps getting worse.
California just extended the date after which the sale of gasoline generators will be prohibited. I don't see how a prohibition will ever be safe for folks who live in the mountain counties and who lose power for a week at a time after storms. LP is not very energy dense. Not everyone has a 500 gallon propane tank. Homes on wells are not habitable without water.

Yes. The big dial on the side has three positions, one of them is the fuel shut off to let the engine drain the bowl

should also be able to hook up an external portable fuel tank, like from a boat, and be able to run for a few days without refilling it.

How often do we need that 30 amp and is that a deal breaker? Just checking for a few examples. Limited knowledge here on electrical knowledge.
