I have this. Got it for $299 in April of 2022. While decent, no way I'd be happy at full price. If you have a sliding saw, it is not going to fit without some overlap. I am using a 12" sliding and you can't store up against a wall. Also, because the saw is heavy, it doesn't rotate freely and I have to really muscle it to get it to lock into place. Also, if you plan on using a dust hood (I use the Rousseau collapsible and it doesn't work well with the stand leaving several gaps. Overall, I'm happy to have it, but I want everyone to understand what you are getting depending on your saw.

I'm not understanding the benefit of this one. It takes up way more space in storage position than a normal folding miter saw stand and doesn't appear to offer any other advantages.

What am I missing about this.
The stands I have seen my friends have take up more space in storage then this one. I was thinking about making a more mobile workstation but for this price point figured why not. I guess we shall see once I get it if it's going to make my life easier or not.

It's only wild if they have a Menards nearby. Menards isn't everywhere, so in many areas, they really aren't a HD competitor.

My Menards is 12 minutes from my Home Depot. It was a trip that they said they aren't competitors. But they did admit Lowes is lol

Will my 12" sliding metabo fit on this?
Reading Amazon reviews I saw a lot of folks mention 12inch saws fitting. I have a 10in Hitachi (pre metabo rebrand)

They have an online presence though just like HD and Lowes was my thought process.

Your local store might, or maybe another HD/online rep.. You should be able to find your local store's number and confirm whether they'd price match an identical product @ Menards, but I wouldn't care to make the trip there (~10-15m) unless it's a sure thing. I don't like burning my spare time/money trying to (physically) go and chase deals down so much lately unless it's something special.

Then you file for rebate with receipt and wait 2 months only to be able to use it at….wait for it……you guessed it, MENARDS
I never got my 11% rebate from them on a ~$300 OTR microwave I purchased.. 6+ yrs ago. It's definitely put me off Menards in general, and I just automatically ignore the 'discount' (rebate) they show on their site before I even think about buying stuff from them. Microwave's still good

As huge of a store & and as diverse/broad of a selection as they have, their site's just kinda.. shady. Extra fees on pickup orders, no reviews on products.. but some of the stuff they carry is pretty decent, and they've got a better hardwood selection than everyone around. Besides Woodcraft which is twice as far and maybe twice as expensive too.

I don't really pay 'loyalty' to the retailers, not should anyone, really... it's not a bad thing to shop around for the best deals on the best stuff for your needs. Sometimes the only time you can get stuff like this, without making something custom yourself. That's the slickdealer way, right?

I do think this is kind of a goofy (and still pretty expensive) solution for a miter stand. Can't shred it too much because I know the value of having good support on miter saws.

Bosch glide's pretty good for keeping up against a wall. Makita makes a good one too.

I just use a less expensive stand for mine because it works. Also have a standalone roller to help if needed. It is a heavy saw though so you'd definitely have to 'help' it turn upright if you store it upside down - that's the biggest appeal of these that would make me even think of spending so much on something like this.

Edit: Here it is on its B&D stand - https://i.imgur.com/Y6bhqJD.jpeg ...excuse the mess

I've got this with a 12 inch DeWalt. If you angle it just right it fits, but barely.

Confirming that Lowes definitely price matches. I was able to just get it done 10 minutes ago for the same price as Menards with Free Shipping. After taxes shipped to California it was $312.46.

Confirming Lowes will price match. Took about 40 minutes and it was janky paying with a card over the chat but it worked.

With Lowes I got free shipping!

i'm sure some will find this useful, 84 inches capacity, just for reference bosch tb4 which iirc has the largest capacity is 103 inch extended, dewalt 723 stand is around that too ...can use 16 footers which is pretty common for trim decking etc Obviously this is for space saving in small shop not long goods (without having to drag out additional material support). When i had a small garage i'd have probably gone for it, combines with a bosch could see implementing it into a workbench that you'd move a bench planer too or something. Then again miter saws inside are pretty messy unless you're on festool crack or have a hood, etc.

Great deal if you can go to Menards to get it.

Price match from Home Depot typically should include shipping charges, so the deal you got should not be expected to be replicable by others.
Our Price Match Guarantee includes the price of the item(s) plus shipping cost.

For what it's worth, I don't have a menards near me and lowes price matched a delta miter saw deal with free shipping, saving me $60 when you jncluse menards $2.80 processing fee.
