This sale is $200. So you're kinda getting the 1 year of 24GB data for "free", and some people seem to have trouble getting that free data. I'd rather not have to spend 2 hours on the phone.
"I purchased this phone to replace the Tracfone that my son lost. I am beyond frustrated, after spending more than 2 hours on the phone with Tracfone because the 24 GB is NOT on the phone. Tracfone refuses to believe that this phone is supposed to have 24GB preloaded on it and refuses to add it. I have been hung up on and disconnected from Tracfone 12 times today. After being a Tracfone customer for almost 20 years.......I AM DONE!!!!"

uses whatever towers are best in your area. If I was in the market for a new phone this seems like a really good deal - however I have never used HSN nor tracfone so am curious how this goes.
If people report success I might suggest it to my parents

This is a good backup phone but def not as main driver.,
It has known set of issues esp fingerprint scanner , gps , battery drain, signal reception.
Not sure how many got fixed with updates. I know fingerprint sensor got improved...but cant comment on others ( Google is your friend)
Also, with so many other deals / sales going around for new /refurbished at this price point it is hard to recommend at this price point.

The phone works fine for me, no problems. The plan loaded fine as well, with all the data.
All the included accessories are pretty bad, even the case. It is just hard plastic. I think maybe the last one might be a little better, the picture shows a different shape at least.
For some reason I was charged 12% sales tax instead of 6%. I didn't notice right away. Maybe it was tax on the free plan, maybe it was some 911 fee or such (but it was just listed as sales tax). Just another small factor.

If you need TF service and can deal with the bad service, I'd say this is a decent deal. I got P6a for $90 from Metro deal 6 months ago and had it unlocked automatically last week. The phone is not great. It's just decent.
Overall, this is a decent but not an excellent deal, imo.
