Used dryer sheets - as you wash the car just dampen one and it takes bugs off car paint and windshield really easy. Read about it years ago and tried it and it really does work.
Used dryer sheets work great for bug and tar.
Perfect timing for cybertruck people. https://www.motorbiscuit.com/tesl...corrosion/

Gasoline works
Kerosene or WD-40 are more gentle and just as effective.

Good tip. I used to just spray the front of the hood with full-strength degreaser.
This is not good on your paint.

Used it last summer on my truck,,wiped off with a good microfiber and it left a ton of visible scratches. Strongly recommend against it.

I have this and I do not like the foam version (compared to liquid spray version). The foam goes everywhere even with a small burst from the can. The splatter goes 1-2 feet from the impact point no matter how far you hold the can from surface. Not only this makes you clean more than needed but it also wastes the product. The turtle wax spray version is far superior as it does not spread everywhere.

I had a problem last summer with wasps being attracted to my car because of tree sap. I washed and washed but the wasps kept coming back for weeks and weeks. Any suggestions?
