I got this about three weeks ago from a certain website that can't be mentioned here. The price was a bit higher than this, but I live in a state with very high sales tax.

In terms of the mount, it isn't that bad if you do some planning. If you want it to be fully flush against the wall you will need an inset box for the power receptacle (I also stuck my Apple TV in there). You also will need to recognize that unlike most TV mounts, this one doesn't have any real room for adjustment side to side. The spacing of your joists will dictate where the TV can be centered unless you tear out the sheetrock and install blocking between the studs. I did it myself in about 3 hours including install of a 14"x14" inset wall box.

I will also add that I own a 77' LG C1, and this TV is phenomenal. Stunning picture. It replaced a 65" Samsung QN90A, and there is no comparison. It's a tremendous improvement.
1200 - 65" c3 come on down...
Good deal for the 65 G3. Unfortunately I'm waiting for the 77.

Price matched at video only for the 77 inch. 3100 out the door with tax included and $75 in house 5 yr extended warranty. More than I wanted to spend on a TV but I was able to sell my wife on the 77 inch saying it wouldn't look that big if it was flush on the wall. Now I just have to hope that the cable exit on the TV just happens to line up with the recessed box that's already in the wall lol

if you don't care about it being flush - is the mount just a regular mount?
Website shows it's a regular VESA 300 x 300 mount.

Like I mentioned earlier in this thread, I ended up getting the LG G3 77 for ~$2900 + tax from a local retailer. TV is great, wall mounted it myself and it is very flush. I did not use their lag bolts, used even stronger ones myself which also have a bigger bolt head so that I could use the studs 16 inches apart. I already had a wall box from the previous TV. It does have a regular VESA mount as mentioned in previous thread.

TV looks great with 4K content. One thing that surprised me is how dim Dolby Vision is with a yellow tinge. I looked it up, and apparently it is expected. You a need a dark room basically to watch Dolby Vision and so far it has not wowed me even with that. And I tried out a Tenet 4K UHD disc, not streaming content. I opted to keep Dolby Vision off most of the time. So for Samsung S90C/S89C lovers, I don't think it is a huge deal personally to not have DV.

Now for the LG G3, it is bright, really bright, no concerns during the day. I keep the motion smoothing to a minimum (my preference) and very pleased with 4K content overall.

Why can't you mention the website? Could you at least hint it or DM me please?

Because it will be deleted. Starts with G and ends with E. It's the cheapest price when you google the TV and click on "shopping."

Google. The. TV. Click on "shopping" it'll be the place that starts with a G and ends with an E that has the cheapest price.

Clear enough for you?

Lol it's like a super secret thing from the CIA. You could bypass the auto delete here by using spaces between letters.

for Dolby Vision just change the picture to Vivid or Standard and yellow tinge goes away.
