I wish there were deals for full masks for people with full beards. Only stuff I've seen costs a fortune.
I just shave a narrow line through the sides of my beard where the mask bands sit. I always get compliments on the line in the beard when not wearing the mask.

I use them when I am doing insulation or cleaning up my crawlspace or sanding. If you are using that for Covid you are using them wrong.

These are great for the workshop -- if you're doing any work around dust or particles in the air, you'll be able to breathe safely without fogging up your safety glasses.

For those with facial hair, these give better protection than average -- stuff will still come through since there isn't a good seal, but around-the-head is tighter than the ears. And this format doesn't push upwards as aggressively -- many KN95 non-gasket masks tend to ride up towards your nose if you have a beard or a more substantial chin/neck.

IF...and I hope they don't....things go sideways again in the world, these masks + a surgical mask over top will give you very decent protection against any pesky viruses. Better than some random six-letter all-caps brand, better than a sewn tshirt fabric, better than just a surgical.

These are listed as N95. Do you need that for construction and home maintenance work?

How are you getting free delivery? I'm seeing an $8.99 delivery charge in my cart. Looks like it's not available for shipping, only pickup at or delivery from stores 10+ miles away.

I'm usually a lurker but I hated these so much I felt compelled to reply. I got these last time they were a deal and they were terrible. Horribly rigid and didn't fit the face well at all. I returned them.

Thanks for the input. I currently use the 3M vented ones and was worried about buying a bunch of these if they're trash.

Same here. I guess supply is low but I didn't know HD changed shipping policy.

You won't get a proper seal with any mask with a beard.

As someone who has done annual respirator fit testing, you must be clean shaven for the respirator to be effective as intended.

I'm hoping the exhaust vent prevents eyeglasses from fogging up. I always seem to have this problem

For those with a beard or with reasons to not shave (ex. Sikhs), you can still pass a fit test using an under-mask beard cover (Singh Thattha technique): https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/...MC7532752/
