Why not just buy an refurbished Echoflow river 2 (256wh) for the same price on ebay?

Because then you get two 120v outlets a cigarette lighter output and an inverter as well.

Edit: OK ecoriver 2 is not on sale anymore but it used to be $109… Now it's 136 but I'm sure it will go back on sale again for $109 or so.

Right? 60w?
Come on man.. crank 150 or 175 at this level and price.
I've got one that hooks into my Ridgid batteries that rips at 175w… definitely disappointing this is just a giant phone charger. If this hit 150w Id jump on it

Power my wifi in my house when we lose power, run a flood light for outdoor use, run our living room lights during power outages. 150 vs 60 is SIGNIFICANT in my opinion especially at this price.

For the price, this seems fairly reasonable. I live in area with frequent power outages, and can always use an emergency power outage light, and the ability to recharge my phone and iPad a few times is always good. I do have a few APC back-ups that have the AC outlets if I should need something with those. I am in for one. I have had pretty good experience with Anker products over the last few years , and they seem to stand behind their warranties fairly well. It says that this comes with a 3 year warranty, and since I bought it with my Amex card, I will probably get a 4th year. If it fails before then, I will likely be able to get a refund or replacement I expect. Thanks.

Is something like this good: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D29QNMJ

That one can be used as DC with the USB plugs, and as an inverter with the AC outlets, right?
It's better, but it's still not a very good value. It can only take in up to 65 watts max, it has a shared 200 watt max output for all ports, and it has the older version lithium cells that are only good for 500 cycles. Lifepo cells claim 3000 cycles, and you can find similar devices with the better cells for cheaper than this.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09FF46FQ9

Just an example

Heck, at the $139(current price refurbished from manufacturer), I'd be tempted to go with the new one from manufacturer on sale for $180 https://www.ebay.com/itm/14478574...1058112432
I have the River Pro 2 and love it. Power the wifi, modem, fireplace fan, for 25 hours. Add the 75 inch tv only 3 hours. Havent tested the freezer and fridge yet. Priorities. Oh and of the 3 Anker products I have owned 2 lasted less than 3 months the other just over a year. Never again. I had always thought they were a good company. My experience changed that perception.

The form factor between those two products is very different

If you're wanting a true all-in-one experience, I'd at least look into something with AC plugs. Personally, I wouldn't trust Anker for anything when it comes to emergencies, but they're fine for backups.
Yeah, I decided against buying one after watching this video https://youtu.be/WBkPMYv_7cY?si=n7HZ04OM509h_PIx

I personally have a bad experience with Anker power banks. Had two different ones die out on me around a year of use.
I have three Anker products. A 10,000 mAh, and two 24,000 mAh battery banks. The 10k one is three years old and my kids use the hell out of it w/o any problems. One of the 24k ones is two years old and I've never had any issues.

I just bought this last week and fully charged it up and then used it to charge an iPad pro. To my shock the capacity dropped from 100% to like 60% in an hour or two. I was completely shocked considering I have the Anker Portable Charger Powercore Elite 20000, 20000mAh and it seems to last as long. I also do not like that it lacks on the inputs considering its size. I would suggest a different product.

It's only 60k mAh, that's like 3 small portable power supplies. The only nice thing about this is the form factor. Looks great and portability. But definitely not for the price.

I bought two of these refurb and a River 2 Max refurb from their ebay store.. All three items including two solar panels were brand new. I just think they use eBay refurb as another distribution channel. The last River 2 I bought was $113, Or maybe I was lucky. But 5 times?

This Anker has a capacity of 192Wh.

So, if your iPad Pro uses 60W in 2 hours to charge that is 120Wh.
120Wh ÷ 192Wh = 62.5% leaving you with 37.5% which would be slightly more than 1/3 left.

According to https://ipadpilotnews.com/2023/08...FPro%20Max, the later generations is 20W.
Using 20W and 2 hours, that would be 40Wh.
40Wh ÷ 192Wh = 20.8%

All in the math.

So far no problems.
Two River 2
One River 2 Pro
One River 2 Max
One Delta 2 w/ Smart battery (battery refurb)

And I am not having issues with any of them. Solar charging everyday. River 2 powered christmas lights all christmas. Solar charge in 2 hours and runs all night for the lights. So $113 was no brainer. Anyways, I bought this Anker 548 because of the XT60 solar ports. My Ecoflow charges quickly off my panels. It is also smaller so I like that foot print.

I was just trying to say that companies can't sell things that have been returned by a customer as "new" when the box has been opened.

So, it is likely you may have gotten brand new units.

There were all sealed in factory packaging. Most refurbs come in brown generic boxes. None of them have been registered online for warranty. Ive had great experience shopping their refurb store,
