Because then you get two 120v outlets a cigarette lighter output and an inverter as well.
Edit: OK ecoriver 2 is not on sale anymore but it used to be $109… Now it's 136 but I'm sure it will go back on sale again for $109 or so.
Come on man.. crank 150 or 175 at this level and price.
I've got one that hooks into my Ridgid batteries that rips at 175w… definitely disappointing this is just a giant phone charger. If this hit 150w Id jump on it

My feeling is that anything returned is most likely due to someone deciding they need more power and going with a bigger model… Or buyers regret… But most cases it be a pretty quick return… I mean if the battery is good it's good and if the inverter is bad, they would just switch it out… I wish there was a cycle count on the refurbs but as long as they hold a good charge, I think it's pretty safe to say they were probably not used too much… but of course, you never know,
Any refurb I get I put through several cycles and test its capacity thoroughly… I even do this with new ones because you can get a bad battery even in a new one.
I actually returned an echo flow 2 for a delta 2… just to get the bigger inverter… the difference in wattage was really quite small, but I really needed the bigger inverter for the occasional microwave usage.
For point of reference, I have the Anker 737 (whatever was hot last year as air travel legal)
I also have the new Jackery 100 explorer. Also LifePO4. The Baseus 140, also LifePOE4.
River 2 and this.
It does not have AC or DC port like River2. It does not do USB-C 100 or 140 watts like the other devices.
I can see why some Youtubers diss this. The 737 is really hyped up. Sure it can do 140 watts but a 16 inch Macbook would render it useless in 30 minutes. There isn't enough capacity.
River 2 is too large to carry as I like to put something under the seat of my truck.
Baseus takes way too long to charge 20 watts. So it is this or the Jackery. Jackery has 1/2 the footprint but at $110, this is only $10 more when Jackery was on sale. Jackery is now $150.
This also has a light and a Solar XT60 plug. Jackery has 100 watt USB-C. For $110, I thought it was worth it. I hardly ever use the Anker 737. If you can get the Jackery for $90, then yeah, the smaller footprint, LIFEPO4 and 100 watts is meaningful. However, I really like this form factor. Easy to carry, quick to plug in my backyard solar panel. Easy to stow in a truck and 60 watt charging. Jackery does 100 watt charging.
