Had this phone for 6 months. Just couldn't be used as a daily as the battery struggles to make it through Full day. Hands down the best flip style phone available. Blows the flip 5 away. Fully functional front screen is worth it.

What puts this over the Flip 5 for you? Flip 5 has a fully functional front screen as well.

I had a ZFlip 5 and returned it the next day. Samsung has gone crazy with bloating their phones with junk Samsung software and are desperate to make their own ecosystem.

The hardware is great but Samsung, as usual, ruins the UX by forcing their apps and services on people.

Actually flip phones WILL be The future when they perfect it. I would love to have a smaller phone when I'm not using it but a Big screen when I do. But I'm not about to buy one anytime soon when I can get a much powerful phone at a much lower price. I do know Motorola phones are the best bang for your buck. I love my Edge+ . This is a super enjoyable, polished phone. The only phone I would consider over an iPhone.

The only downside to this is that it's only available in black. I wouldn't have expected this price for new during the current generation.

The Razr+ is also one device I wish they had an insurance plan available to add.

I'd say this is a solid device and as for the flip phone thesis.. I think they are here to stay, they offer the convenience of portable storage while giving you a bigger screen. Also if you use any time of ear buds or headset the front screen is ideal for calls, music etc.

Also being able to take full strength high res selfies is actually pretty neat and the photos come out decent vs normal front cameras.

Lastly I think the flip helps protect the main screen from damage and you can get away witha bit lighter case.
