This seems like a sweet deal just the YouTube premium for 1 year seems to be worth it at $23.

Do you have to keep Fi active for 1 year YouTube premium?

Is this every month? or only good for 1 month.
If it's every month then this would be competitive with visible and cricket.

Subscribers must maintain active service on Unlimited Plus over the course of the year.

sound like $22.75 is only for the first month, then it's the regular Fi price

according to the review, you can't use any Fi new user phone deal if you go this Amazon sim card route

Thanks! If it's just for 1 month then it's too expensive then....

Yes this. Look at the RECENT reviews like 6260G pointed out. Not worth the 1 month tiny savings to deal with the hassle.

I ordered this–even despite all the bad reviews. The SIM card they sent was indeed expired (mine says 'ACTIVATE BY 10/11/2022', so it's expired by more than a year!) and the included SIM had no credit for a free month of service. When I followed the instructions provided with the SIM kit and inserted the SIM into my phone to activate FI service, Google Fi said that I would need to order a new SIM kit directly from them, and that I wouldn't get a free month of service.

I'm going to return this to Amazon for a refund, as it does not work at all.

This deal has expired on Amazon, but it's still available on Target.
According to Google [google.com], the SIM card no longer expires.

Important: Ignore the expiration date shown on your SIM card. Google Fi SIM cards no longer expire.
Did you select the "Unlimited Plus" plan when activating the SIM? One of the Amazon reviews states that Google's website defaults to the "Flexible" plan and it will charge your card instead of using the free month credit if the selected plan doesn't match the plan that bundled with the SIM.
I really hope it will work as I have an upcoming trip, but it's still a few months out so I probably won't be able to return it if it fails to activate or apply the credit.
Not sure if it's worth a gamble...
