This is a nice set. I use it with my Milwaukee 1/2" impact and the sockets are holding up fine. Clearly marked size is a plus. Case seems heavy duty and being packout is a big plus if yo are into the packout system.

The $136 was one day deal and only if you returned the bit set. This is still a good deal as previous low was $174 for just the packout socket set

Are the bits easy to remove or does this have the trademark milwaukee PITA worst plastic case design?

Bits? These things are like 3+ inches long. They just sit in the trays.

How is this a good deal when harbor freight has them so cheap with a lifetime warranty? I've had my set from HF for years without an issue.

$150 at Harbor Freight for 14-piece metric and 13-piece SAE sets. And those don't come with $50 Packout organizer.

Nice try

You linked Harbor Freight's premium ICON brand.

I'm sure the rgadowski was referring to their Pittsburgh brand which are $28.99 each for SAE/Metric. There are often coupons for < $20 and their periodic 30% off coupons.

If you are a mechanic or other professional using impact sockets. Then by all means buy this set. However for the average DIYer, HF's Pittsburgh brand are more than sufficient.

I've have had their SAE/Metric sets for many years without problem.

Mechanics who work on a variety of things usually prefer sets that come in complete size runs. What is the cost of those cheap thick walled HF sets after you fill in the missing sizes and get an appropriate case?

Interesting your comparing the ICON brand... the most expensive from HF and very good quality successfully competing with Snap-on.. HF does have cheaper sets that I own for years and have no issues with regular use...
Yes, I was pointing to a comparable set, not to the cheap thick walled incomplete Pittsburgh ones. Those don't even include a 12mm or 16mm...SMH
