I bought a FlirOne many years ago, for my Galaxy S8. It came with a USB C connector and worked great. Kind of disappointed that the resolution is still so low and the price still so high, this many years later. That said, this thing has probably saved me a few hundred dollars in heating and cooling costs. We have an older house and walking through it with this camera on was extremely insightful. I found so many odd air leaks, most of them I was able to fix. Including large areas in the ceiling where it turned out was barely any insulation in the attic. Or our wood paneled front door which had tiny gaps in the panels etc. Also, since I can't update my S8+ Android OS, I had to side load an old version of the FLIR app to get it to run recently. That doesn't speak great for them trying to keep old models running. Also a bit disappointing.

For any technical peeps… should I be concerned with any levels of radiation with a device such as this?

These do not emit any sort of ionizing radiation. It's technology similar to a visible light camera but they use very small IR temperature sensors that can "see" temperature as opposed to red, green, and blue that humans see.

Your phone gives off radiation daily. This thing is the least of your concern.
