Recent reviews on Amazon are pretty mixed.

Anyone have them and able to compare them to the Ikea Alex units that are probably the gold standard for this type?

How does this compare to similar ikea products? I was debating a trip in the upcoming weeks, but haven't really looked at anything yet.

Maybe Blackman-103 was referring to something like this at Home Depot?

According to 3C, the most this ever cost within the last year was $100, and within the last 8 years was $163. Yet the "list price" is $197. 🙄

I have the 7 drawer version. It's decent although it was very time consuming to put together. 😅 works okay enough with some QC issues like poorly aligned tracks causing some drawers to be pushed in deeper than others. I wouldn't buy again if I needed another.

Also, the 7 drawer version was $67.14 when I bought it in 2022 FWIW.

IKEA versions are better. Especially the drawer hardware. I own 2 winsome Halifax drawers and the fact the drawers don't fully open drives me absolutely nuts. The drawer alignment isn't great either. Personally I wouldn't buy again, but you do you.

I have the white one and it's decent. It is particle board so take that as you will. There were a lot of pieces to put together too. For an office or bedroom where you won't be moving it all the time it's perfect! I have miner in my studio holding camera equipment. Not cameras or lenses but brackets, screws, books, etc..
