According to my hair salon managing gf... Hair products are one of the biggest counterfeit items you can get on amazon. I think the risk goes up as the price goes up, so these might be fine... But I have personal experience getting even the OGX brand shampoo/conditioner and having the product in the bottle be quite obviously not the same as what I bought locally.

... Just a heads up.
That's because it is incredibly difficult to mass produce real argan oil. I went to Morocco last year and we listened to experts on how they produced it and how painfully difficult it is to produce even a small amount of it as it is only indigenous to Morocco and parts of neighboring Algeria.

Most "argan oil" products are counterfeit using other oils such as sunflower oils to substitute for the real thing as a small bottle of approximately 500 ml will cost you a minimum at market price around $30-$50 depending on the quality, concentration and origin because per wikipedia 40 kilos of dried argan fruit only produces 1L (1000 mLs) of argan oil.

Don't bother buying these shill products as some shampoos are actually more detrimental for your hair/scalp health due to the addition of actually toxic chemicals that induce baldness and the lack of a picture of their ingredients is sus as well as higher quality brands will proudly put their ingredients list in the pictures.
I wish these products had to disclose what percentage Argan oil is in these products. It's is noteworthy that there's more Shea butter oil in this than Argan oil which makes the name sort of deceptive.

I think I'd rather just buy whatever conditioner I like and add in some Argan oil.

Argan oil for hair was all the craze a few years back. I haven't seen as many products with argan oil since.

I agree.
What I found surprising is that the companies selling even fake argan oil products diminished. Check out the comment about buying argan oil shampoo for $1.

As a young person I had no idea how much money was needed on a weekly basis for bills. As an adult I now need around $2,400 per month. I don't make much money, so this is pretty much killing my entire spending budget.... But whenever I see these companies trying to sell things for a buck just wanting to get money out of anybody and anything, it starts to make sense whenever I realize how ridiculously much money is needed to keep surviving for a lot of people...

How many is "years" ago? Because you're completely full of it, like the other person stated. The price has never been lower than $12/bottle.

Thanks for all that info. As for no picture, that turned me off as well. But scrolled down the full ad and ingredient list is there. Takes up half my desktop screen. I like it better as it's bigger it includes both and isn't some bad lighting/angle nightmare for me to try read with these old eyes. . . but good luck getting all products to all display one or the other. They should be required to provide one. I'll let you digest the ingredients for a bit. . .let us know
