Budget snips usually cut fine for a day or 2. After that, if they haven't outright failed by the end of a project, they will continue to mush through material awhile, wasting time, and killing your hands and wrists.

Buy these Wiss snips instead - they have been basically industry standard for years. 1 here is better than a 3 pack of garbage snips. You don't really need left/right/center unless you're doing detail trim work where visual is important. HD and Amazon are the same price now, but just about always in the $10-15 range. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Wiss-.../100065942

Folks seem to swear by Midwest snips. I'd consider that an upgrade option, and that'll probably be my next set - but who knows when? I only need snips 4-5 days a year and the Wiss have served me well close to a decade.

Buy Midwest or Malco and never look back. Or... buy these and come to understand why they're called Amazon "Basics. "
