OnePlus themselves has told people recycle it or keep it if your sentimental they could care less there's no trade in evaluation whatsoever. They even call it a $100 recycling reward.

After using OP's fast charge for over 3 years on my 8T, I can't imagine caring any less about a feature on a phone than wireless charging.

Pixel 8 has better camera, wireless charging and lighter compare to 12R. It also holds better trade-in value and software support in the future. For me, I will choose Pixel 8. Performance should not be much different on daily activities.

Looks like 12R is just 10T with minor screen differences and some spec bumps. Same exact cameras, same dimensions, same RAM, same storage.

One plus 10t vs 12r which is better?
The 12r is a little better (slower charging) but I think the main consideration is the style of screen. 12r is curved and the 10T is flat. I find the curve annoying and sticking with 10T. Sadly very few phones are flat. Just something to consider

Pixel 8 is also about double the price or more after trade in of a junk phone.

I just traded in a 10T for the 12 and a case for $450 before tax and they threw in the wireless charger too. But, in California they charge tax on the value of the phone before trade-in. That meant my tax was $70 instead of $41. That's really annoying.

I loved the fast charge on OnePlus 10T, I wake up with a depleted battery, shower and take the dog out and it's about 100%, even though I'd like to stop at 65-70% to extend battery longevity. For those looking to upgrade from an old OnePlus to the 12R, the trade in value on most models makes it a no brainer. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for this cheap is nice. Screens on these are nice too.

So for you which is the best value? One plus 12R base version at $369?
Also could you please compare Pixel 8 (non pro) vs OnePlus 12R? Which is the better phone?
I got the Pixel 8 from the deal last month and was wondering whether the Oneplus 12R would be better. Both are similar price.
What was the deal on Pixel 8 and what was the price?

The OnePlus 11 had a setting to stop the charging at 80%. I wouldn't be surprised if the 12 also has the same feature.

Does anyone know how tax works on these? I'm being charged tax for $500 instead of the $220 pre tax total after trade in option. It says the tax is an estimate, so will I be charged the correct tax later or am I stuck paying double in taxes?

This is a beautiful phone with amazing specs. But did I read that right? Is it really USB-C 2.0? I'm using the OP8 and it has USB-C 3.1. I use OTG a LOT. Everything else is bleeding edge, but stuck with USB-C 2.0. This is tough. I was so close to pulling the trigger. This is such a wonderful phone otherwise.

USB 2.0 is killing me... but then again, do I ever do much transferring files via cord?

What do you guys think? Sitting in my cart at $372 after 7P trade in.

I'm using my old 6t as a glorified music player in my workshop. Surprisingly they gave $160 on trade in. My OP8 is the new shop phone. I seen some post. Where the coupon wasn't working for some. It did work for me this morning. $190 off the 12R 128GB. Too good a deal to pass up.

Is this model going to be whitelisted by At&t?

That depends on the law in your state.
