I bought this game during Christmas on Meta Quest 3, assuming the non-vr game is the same, it's really fun and worth buying.

Seems like a good value for a relatively short game. Has anyone played both this and Lego Builder's Journey? I enjoyed Journey but also found it very linear with little replay value. I'm hoping this one has more creative options to solve puzzles and allow unique designs.

Agree. Been debating about it there, but might just get it on the switch.

Pretty low ratings. Poor controls and linear story. Doesn't seem like it's worth $15, maybe $5.

I played Journey on my PC and Bricktales on the Quest 3. BT is still linear compared to open world games, but it is worlds better than Journey. Lots more customization, going back to old worlds to unlock secrets, collect custumes and custom brick colors.

Note: The review I watched for BT said the camera angels were they worst part of the game (for consoles/PC) which isn't a problem on VR because you can move your head wherever you want. If I didn't have a Quest 3, I'd still go for this deal though. $15 is worth it in my opinion though.

Thanks! We picked it up on Steam and my 10 year old likes it a lot so far; it is still pretty linear and build-the-pattern in the beginning, but she's having fun!
For PC users, it also runs very well on older hardware (in this case a quad core i5 and GeForce 1060)

There's a demo on Steam. Glad I tried it because the UI/view is terrible

Just got this for iPad a week ago for $2.99, totally worth it. Beautiful graphics, decent storyline and challenging puzzles. The controls aren't awful, but it can add to the challenges trying to get pieces in the right spot.

Seems like that is the better value. Is the iPad game the same as the other versions (PC, consoles)?

Idk for sure, but it seems like the complete game. It has the holiday levels as well, like Easter and Christmas. I've been playing for about an hour/day and still not finished.
