Verizon for Warp 5G, T-Mobile for GSM, AT&T is coming later this year. You choose which carrier you want.

Also unless it has changed in the last year (when I had this similar plan) on Warp 5G there is absolutely ZERO throttling of video down to 420p resolution (and hence a few hundred gig/hr). etc so if your youtube is not set to 420p resolution and you watch a 1k or 4k video you are going to use a TON of data and not know it until you get cut off. Just fair warning, hope they have fixed this issue but a non-suspecting person could run through their data pool in a few short hours.
How is the network and calls?

I had to switch from Mint Mobile to US Mobile recently and seems to be better. Only had one bar at my house on mint and have 3 with US Mobile but that will vary with everyone and is just my situation. Mint is T-Mobile and US Mobile is Verizon and other options as well as others have said. I believe on US Mobile you have priority too where on Mint you do not. Everything seems faster like web browsing on US Mobile. I'm on the 30 day trial currently. Gave Mint a 3 month trial and was going to do a yearly at $15 a month but was having too many issues at home with 1 bar. Was planning to do US Mobile at $18 a month at 6GB as I'm usually around WiFi so not a big deal. I still had 4.7GB out of 5GB while testing Mint those 3 months. There is also Visible out there now that is basically Verizon. Been seeing them like crazy all of a sudden.

You're not using a few hundred GBs an hour watching YouTube, even if you were watching at 4K. The average household uses less than 1tb a month of home internet, which is a couple few hundred GBs.

And it's 480p.

I have 5 phones on the Verizon towers of US mobile. Everything is great. Came from Straight Talk (good but awful customer service) to Google Fi (made Straight Talk customer service seem great) Google Fi couldn't route a call to my town. Had to get the FCC involved then they gave me my money back. To US Mobile, the best customer service I have experienced in years (not just cellular but in any industry). Coverage is Verizon coverage.

Can it be used for wifi calling and receiving text (OTP) when traveling outside US?
If you select the GSM network at the time of activation, then it is on their T mobile network. I desperately needed Verizon, so opted for warp but the support guy who I had to reach out for activation insisted I use GSM network as it now supports native international roaming, no need of going through the esim hassle. Also for OPTs and consistent WiFi calling while on roaming, customer care recommended that I use GSM network. Like many others here, I was amazed by their customer support team.

thats bad. But i guess the top up price is reasonable

Is the $2 per GB top up still applicable to this new plan? Can't find that info anywhere.
"Edit: And yes, if you need more data you can add more — 2 GB for $10, 4 GB for $15, 6 GB for $20. These prices will improve next week."

Few means two to a few, so a couple (two) "few hundred gigs" = around 1tb.
Stop making up nonsense. Your definition is wrong. 1 TB is not a "couple few hundred gbs." The only thing worse than that definition is your defense of it.

Can anyone attest 2 Verizon speeds under US Mobile in Houston? Just wondering how fast is "premium" data? I have VERIZON postpaid plan w premium data and speeds seem 2 have dropped from 10 to 30 Mbps a year ago to 2 to 15 now. What really gives?

I was on the 5gb $15/month plan. So I doubled my data and get hotspot enabled for the same price, pretty sweet. It does look like it'll bill you the $180 right away on your next payment.

That's just Verizon being Verizon. Their LTE/5G NW (DSS) speeds have slowed to a crawl in a lot of placed over the past couple of years due to congestion. They're converting 5G NW back to LTE in some areas too, since it was such a disaster. their 5G UW (C Band, aka real 5G) is plenty fast though, if you have coverage where you're at and they have enough density.

USM's data priority is QCI 8, same as most Verizon post paid plans. https://fixverizon.com/2023/01/12...eir-mvnos/
