Verizon for Warp 5G, T-Mobile for GSM, AT&T is coming later this year. You choose which carrier you want.

3 of us are on the 12 GB pooled plan for $41. What features do I lose or gain if I switch all 3 to this for $45?

I have 5 phones on the Verizon towers of US mobile. Everything is great. Came from Straight Talk (good but awful customer service) to Google Fi (made Straight Talk customer service seem great) Google Fi couldn't route a call to my town. Had to get the FCC involved then they gave me my money back. To US Mobile, the best customer service I have experienced in years (not just cellular but in any industry). Coverage is Verizon coverage.
thanks

Wife and I are on a grandfathered play for $30/mo. We came from Verizon, then Visible... saved a good bit, and is just as good as when we had post-paid Vzw. I like US Mobile a lot.

Shouldn't the pooled plan with 3 lines and 12GB cost $48? $10 for 1 line and 2GB, then $8 per line and $2 per GB. How are you getting $41?

edit: Nevermind. Just saw the $41 pricing on their website.

Won't lose anything, but you'll gain hotspot and intl calling. Another option, for low data users is their new $72/1gb/mo annual plan, which will offer $2/gb top-ups next week. I'll be moving my data pool of five lines to that plan in the near future.

I really want to switch but all the telcos are now restricting activation to newer model IMEI's even though older phones (both with and without 5g) still work fine on the network. If you're thinking of switching and bringing a phone, check the IMEI on their website to verify they will allow activation first.

US Mobile offers both TMobile and Verizon service -- do your own homework on what network is better for your use case as far as coverage goes. Here in the northeastern US Verizon is 10x better then TMo but US Mobile still defaults my zip code to TMo sim card unless you choose otherwise.

Also, here's some really interesting info on data & call prioritization for MVNOs - it's quite a bit simpler than it used to be but still worth knowing - https://www.reddit.com/r/NoContra...riers_and/

Hmm no top ups yet though. I would wait to see if they allow the $2/GB rate and top-ups before I'd go for this annual plan.

Uh...For people with ACP, this might be the cheapest Plan we can get. I need $10 per month for a minimum of 5GB; therefore, I consider this a good plan. The question is whether this "promotion" will last until April. Again, ACP may/will end around April.
how do you use acp with this? i thought they need to able to accept it? thanks for any advice, my mom is on this program.

Doesn't matter, the program may/will end on April of this year anyway. If your mom is on the lifeline, it's a different story, but for ACP, look at the news.

Give them a generated IMEI for a newer phone that Verizon will accept, then use the SIM in whatever phone you want, although you're going to have a bad time if you're using a 4G phone on verizon's LTE in a lot of areas due to congestion. There's a shopping area here that has a Verizon Micro LTE pole... At night, I can get 150/40 speeds, but during shopping hours, with Visible+/Priority Data, I'm lucky to see 1-3mbps down, and if you don't have priority data, then you'll be lucky to see .4-.6 down.

Here's a coverage map based off the the carriers' own signal data that they turn over to the FCC every six months. You can basically tell where their towers are by zooming in and looking for the darkest green areas.
https://map.coveragemap.com/
There's also Cellmapper.net which is handy, if you're a bit nerdier and can figure it out.

And here's an easier to read QCI chard https://fixverizon.com/2023/01/12...eir-mvnos/

I hope they don't renig on the $2/gb top-ups for the new Lite and this plan. Someone on reddit said they chatted with support and got a top up on the lite plan for $2 a week or two ago, and the CEO said better top-up pricing is coming next week.
Quote from netigen :

AFAIK, everyone has always been grandfathered in to their discontinued plan, when new plans have launched, and according to the CEO, this plan won't be going away after a year. I think some of their excessive plan changes over the past year have been to try and make sure they can offer the same pricing and data allotments, with very close to the same options, across all three carriers when they launch AT&T service in June.

If she doesn't need 10gb of data, the new Lite plan is $72/yr for 1gb/mo and top-ups are supposed to be $2/gb starting next week.

Would this be good to get for an upcoming trip to China? I have an older Samsung Galaxy S9+ so would need a physical sim. Currently on Puretalk along with my wife and in-laws...

I had to switch from Mint Mobile to US Mobile recently and seems to be better. Only had one bar at my house on mint and have 3 with US Mobile but that will vary with everyone and is just my situation. Mint is T-Mobile and US Mobile is Verizon and other options as well as others have said. I believe on US Mobile you have priority too where on Mint you do not. Everything seems faster like web browsing on US Mobile. I'm on the 30 day trial currently. Gave Mint a 3 month trial and was going to do a yearly at $15 a month but was having too many issues at home with 1 bar. Was planning to do US Mobile at $18 a month at 6GB as I'm usually around WiFi so not a big deal. I still had 4.7GB out of 5GB while testing Mint those 3 months. There is also Visible out there now that is basically Verizon. Been seeing them like crazy all of a sudden.
The plan has nothing to do with ur signal bars, ur phone does. Ur phone is probably an unlocked CDMA phone, that's why it gets better signal with Verizon towers
