I switched from red pock Verizon to us mobile Verizon an year ago. My average day outside home without wifi used to be 100-200 MB but after US Mobile, it changed to 300-500 MB. Normal usage, some browsing during the day and some music during the commute. I don't know if suddenly apps started using more data or they measure data differently.

I want to see if I understand this correctly. I am not a heavy data user. I can port 3 lines and get a 12GB shareable plan for $25/mo and get 2 $100 gift cards ($50 for each of the first and second lines https://www.usmobile.com/blog/us-...ree-trial/ ). So I will get 13 months of service for $41 x 12 = $492 minus $100 gift cards. I can add $2/GB if I go over in any month.

If I get the $180 per line plan, I can still do the 30 day trial but do not get the gift cards.

Correct?
I don't think the share plans qualify for the gift cards but I could be wrong. Typically it's only for the single line unlimited plans.

good plan, us mobile is very good
Until you need support
Or try to port out
They will make you miserable

After two years, suddenly phone could not receive calls
They tried resetting
Finally they said our phone was not compatible with their network
After two years? Suddenly?
And then they refused to provide the info needed to port out to the new provider
Same phone, working fine with another provider

The way they treated us for port out
Was illegal
Never going back to them
Ever

Even if free

I have had 9 lines with USMobile. Needed to port out twice. It worked just fine. You can get support help through Reddit, online chat, or by calling. Many different ways. You just had a bad experience. This is not the case for everyone!

Same here. Support has always been excellent and available whenever I tried reaching them. I've only done online chat. Never needed to call.

I just saw a commercial that mint mobile dropped their plans from $30 a month to $15 a month. Not sure how it compares. Just thought I'd mention.
Only on their 3 month plans

I am in the Charlotte, NC area. Specifically Indian Land, SC. I switched from Mint Mobile to US Mobile in 9/2022 due to a promo. Both used T-Mobile network, but many sent and received text messages were extremely delayed using US Mobile. I contacted support multiple times to troubleshoot. I ended up switching back to Mint Mobile several months before my plan expired. I lost time and money trying to save a few dollars.

wait, you can pick either tmobile or verizon network?

can you swap in between tmo and verizon during the subscription, or do you have to stick to your choice for the duration of the term?
No switching

So far for me switching has been a nightmare. Among other things, my WiFi calling settings disappeared when moving to usm and support while talking a good game about fixing it, has been useless.

these guys were ok for a year or two that i was using them.. on the verizon network.. but last few months it's been very bad i don't have any signal outside in shopping areas or any area .. so ended up switching for now to visible to try them out and see how it goes.. so far have i crossed these two off my list (mint mobile and us mobile) will try visible next and if not maybe google fi..
i'm in southern california area orange county (south oc near irvine, lakeforest, aliso viejo area).
hopefully this can help someone else.. you can always try their trial switching into and out of their plans is pretty easy just need to hit up chat and ask for porting out your number (account and pin) .. overall customer support was good and price is one of the best but again coverage and 4g/5g is just been terrible lately. Phone used Pixel 6, 7 and 8.
