Verizon for Warp 5G, T-Mobile for GSM, AT&T is coming later this year. You choose which carrier you want.

how is the wifi-calling of us mobile? I am currently with Verizon and its wifi-calling sucks because the algorithm tries to stay w/ cellular as much as possible even with unreliable voice connection and never switches to wifi-calling. Looking to switch to ATT later but want to try us mobile if they are good.
Thats usually a setting in the phone that determines the preference. You have to select Wifi preferred under wifi calling menu.

This works for existing users. Had my daughter on the unlimited plan for $25/mo. She only uses a gig or so a month so I switched over this plan.

Initially I had trouble as the monthly plan just renewed. Gave me an error trying to pay. Initiated CS through chat who quickly determined the cause, already paid for the next month. He rectified it by refunding this month's payment allowing me to choose any new plan, including this one.

Going forward, may switch over to a shared data plan...

Currently a Total verizon user, who has the old grandfathered in 60g/mo for 3 lines for $80. Once verizon makes me switch to their costly plans, I am moving.
I'm on the shared data plan, I tried the 30gb one and found we only used under 10 for 5 lines. I switched to the 12gb plan. I think because its winter, we go out less. And if we reach the limit, you can always add. Likely in spring when we're out more, we'll probably use more, so I can either switch back to the 30gb or add extra 10gb as we go. Its very easy to switch back and forth and they have good usage logs

Wish Visible enables usage logs.

Thanks, that's what I noticed with USmobile. They have good metrics for data/text/calls. It's as it they knew their customers were interested in KPI's and metrics.

I may switch over sooner than later now that you said that.

I notice US Mobile include international calling. We'll be traveling to Europe in the summer so this may become useful?

I know my current Total plan does not include international.

International means receiving international calls but not making calls to international numbers or roaming. Bit misleading, have to see the FAQ https://www.usmobile.com/help/

For the folks who ever ordered their "Starter kit", was the trial only free if porting in your existing number? I just got their kit but in order to get a true free trial, they are requiring porting in my existing number. Which is not what I had expected and I also didn't find this condition disclosed anywhere on their website.
The option of using a new number offers 3 months for $45, which is still reasonable, but not exactly "free".
Is there a way to get a free trial without having to port in my existing number?

So does it mean we can receive calls from the U.S. when traveling abroad? Or does it mean when we are in the U.S. we can receive calls from other countries? If it is the latter, what's so special about it that it gets mentioned? I thought that's a given.

Sounds like the latter. The former would be "roaming".

Does my Plan include International Calling?
US Mobile customers can receive international calls, but cannot make outbound international calls. Roaming is currently not available.

What internationals plans does US Mobile offer?
We do not offer international roaming coverage at this time.

I have asked multiple reps about international calling. They confirm its available and included on those countries listed here. https://www.usmobile.com/international-calling

Seems like the FAQ is wrong. There is a more detailed breakdown chart under "See more plan details". Basically there is only international roaming for GSM 5G Unlimited Starter and Unlimited Premium. Otherwise it's only calling and texting from the US.

I am on warp and tried to make an international call. It says that it is not enabled and I need to contact the provider to enable it.

Thanks, I guess it is just another line they want there and it doesn't really mean anything.

Does this plan have a time limit to be activated by after purchase?
I called because I wanted the answer to this question as well. The CS rep told me that this is not a promotional price and will be part of their regular pricing plans.

No switching
that is incorrect.

I had the CS rep check coverage in my zip code and was told that coverage for both WARP and GSM were very good in my area, but if I encountered any problems they could easily help me switch over to the other network.
