I picked one up in Seattle. Item was marked as $349.99. I asked someone to scan it. It was priced at $199.99.

In my case, brickseek was accurate. BS said 7 in stock, and "clearance" but not the price. The HD app showed 0 in stock, and only ship to store for full price ($499). I called the store and they confirmed 7 in stock and clearance price of $199. When I got to the store they found 6 on the upper shelves and $199 price.

Other nearby stores BS had the quantity, and normal price ($499).

Thank you for posting OP. Brickseek showed Clearance qty 4 in stock at a nearby HD in MI and the HD app said out of stock at this location. Bought one there for $199. There was a $199 yellow price tag on the shelf and the HD associate got it out of the locked up outdoor power equipment shelf.

i am on the same boat, be able to pick up both of them, now i have to decide which one better. according to review the Ridgid blower is not that strong, and Ridgid trimmer does not have any attachment like Dewalt. but Ridgid battery is cheaper than the flexvolt.

Anyone own both of them, can you tell us which one did you find more useful?

With a 9ah you shouldn't have issues with run time unless you use the blower a LOT. Battery blowers in general are battery hogs but an average 1/4 acre residential lot (we're on a corner too so lot of sidewalk trimming/blowing) and 1 9ah could do the whole thing, but I usually use 2 6ah as the trimmer in particular is heavy lugging the 9ah around.

This is anecdotal, however, I have purchased this strimmer about 2 years ago and about 4 years ago the greenworks 60v. Both died in less than 2 years. I want electric to work but for me, they just haven't. not really that close either if you factor in having to switch out batteries mid work. I don't have a massive yard, bigger than average perhaps but the motors just give out. I had to go back to gas.

Still waiting to find a place that will recycle them.

The 60v greenworks blower works great. my dewalt pole saw, drill, hedger, all work great. Just electric strimmers come to my house to die.

My 4 or so year old Greenworks batteries still seem to be operating fully. The string trimmer string feeding mechanism jams constantly, it is so frustrating, constantly have to stop to fix it. Electric engines of mower, blower and trimmer seem to be just fine
