I recommend a flush door from your local hardware store. Will probably run you like $120. 1 strong person could easily toss one around. I'm like 130lbs and carrying one around wasn't too bad.
I've done this and tiled them. I have a 160" long x 38" deep 'desktop.'

Yes. Instructions tell you exactly what bits to use. Two brackets into the wall then lay the top on…move it around to the way you like, mark where the brackets meet, drill and screw. Can take a little bit of time, but kinda hard to screw up. Good instruction manual.
