I just purchased this and installed it. Very nice. THROW THE SUPPLIED SCREWS AWAY, and go and buy some better replacements at Lowe's. The hardware supplied is very crappy and multiple screws stripped out and wouldn't go in, even with pilots holes as per the instructions. It's a great tabletop, just save yourself a headache and purchase decent wood screws(as mentioned on other Amazon reviews. They were correct). Enjoy!

Another good option if you have one around; I got my solid wood door from a Habitat for Humanity ReStore. $30

I got this last time. It's pretty nice. Big nice block of wood (kinda like butcher block) with a decent clear finish. Feels very sturdy (in studs).

Have essentially the same thing with a different name stamped on it. Fantastic for additional workshop work space when needed, folds right away when done. Solid deal at this price. šŸ‘šŸ¼

Buy larger brackets on Amazon and just get a larger top.

I recommend a flush door from your local hardware store. Will probably run you like $120. 1 strong person could easily toss one around. I'm like 130lbs and carrying one around wasn't too bad.

I've done this and tiled them. I have a 160" long x 38" deep 'desktop.'

Yes. Instructions tell you exactly what bits to use. Two brackets into the wall then lay the top onā€¦move it around to the way you like, mark where the brackets meet, drill and screw. Can take a little bit of time, but kinda hard to screw up. Good instruction manual.

Do you think this would work as the hinge for a door hidden in a bookshelf? Like mount vertically in the doorway with the table turned shelf surface facing away from the hidden room?
