Good deal, only thing I would note is that by purchasing through eBay it appears to only have a 1-year seller warranty vs 2-years if purchased directly from sellers website (priced slightly higher). Thanks OP!

Website doesn't charge tax for most states, eBay does. Usually why I buy from their website.

Yeah I emailed them to ask about it, apparently once they went above a certain threshold, they had to do that. I asked for an extra promo code since they had just started charging them a couple of days before but got turned down lol

Why would they pull these out of servers just over a year after they were manufactured? Preventatively because SMART data indicated possible weaknesses? Do they then wipe this SMART data to resell, so the unsuspecting buyer cannot check how many hours of runtime they have, or other issues? Questions worth asking.

20TB is a lot of data to lose, so if you buy, at least make sure to run in redundant configurations only.

The seller is pretty active on Reddit and lots of people on there seem to trust them.

Re: wiping SMART, apparently they don't but occasionally the manufacturer does.
either way, yes to redundancy but I doubt they would offer a two year warranty on potentially flawed products.

I bought 5x18tb from this seller over a year ago I run them 24/7 with 0 problems

If the drive cage doesn't have good vibration dampening, it will definitely rattle your machine. Even if it does, it will still probably be pretty audible.

Whatever you do, do not put these in a raid5 or raid6 or raidz1 or raidz2 (in truenas). Only mirror / raid 1 / 10

Couldn't find anything definitive searching online. I don't think they are super loud. See this quote about this deal in serve the home.

I'm assuming they're saying you should anticipate more than one drive failing. Personally, I'll be running 6 of these in raid 5 and won't think twice about it. They won't be holding mission critical data.
