I use the line trimmer with 4ah batteries, it goes about 30-40 minutes of normal trimming, enough to handle our 1acre lot. If you have it on high and are hitting thick weeds you could probably kill it in 15 minutes

FYI you have to sign in to brickseek now

Brickseek showed one store nearby with "Limited stock"
I found one up top, second overhead shelf. It was yellow-stickered for $229 but rang up $99
Now brickseek shows none nearby.
Good luck hunting

Thanks OP! Been looking for these separately but the combo was definitely better. If anyone still looking for one in Los Angeles, there's 7 more in the Huntington Park location on a pallet on aisle 3 lol

Edit: Confirmed both of my older 4ah batteries fit fine.

Got the last one in Tulsa, OK. Was hidden pretty good back of the mower/weedeater isle up top. End of box that was showing was black not orange so be on the lookout for that. Brick showed clearance and sure enough it was there. Sticker said $229 but rang up for $99. Worker said wow that's a great deal, I told her yes it's definitely a slick deal Wink. Thanks for posting this 👍🏻💪🏻

Answered my own ?: there is a pallet here at the store and the gal said it's ringing up $99. Several left. Gig Harbor, WA. There were multiple nearby stores to 98332 showing some in stock on clearance. Good luck!
There were only 2 on pallet, so 1 left. Gig Harbor

In general how do 18v trimmers fair out with St. Augustine grass? Considering the thick stolons(runners).

If you are not married to the Ridgid system and want a little more performance get the dewalt one on clearance for $200.

I have a lot of Ridgid tools/batteries so this kit works well for me.

I found mine in the lighting clearance section. Sticker said $239 but rings up $99.

Where are you finding them at? Clearance end cap in Lawn & Garden? High shelf/overflow?
Found one in clearance end cap and a few more in overstock in garden area. My brother and a couple friends are in the ridgid ecosystem, so this was a no brainer - $475 out the door for five sets. Already have a 6AH and two other 4 ah batteries. I think I'm good now.

So, if HD site says not available for pickup but brickseek says there's 8 on "clearance" at my particular store what am I expecting to find on my shelves and for how much?! Brickseek says MSRP is >$300 and there are "online" prices of $250. But, it otherwise just said "clearance" for my location(s). TIA
If brickseek says it is in stock and on clearance with a quantity, it should be in store for $99.

My store had 5 in stock on Brickseek, there was one at the clearance end cap marked $229 and four more in the overstock in lawn and garden.

I checked the home depot app, and it said available for shipping only. I even scanned one on the app in store to check the price (sticker was $229) and it still came up as ship only. A worker confirmed the price, and I loaded up my cart. My brother and and a few friends have ridgid... with my military discount, each was $95 out the door.

Got one, thanks OP!

For my SoCal people, Brickseek showed 5 available at the Pomona HD off Towne Ave. When I got there I only saw 3 remaining on the top most rack aisle 3.

Happy hunting!

There are some reviews that say battery doesn't fit in the blower . I just got this combo today . At first my newer max output battery didn't fit all the way in but it did after I put in my older style battery . I would suggest you guys test out the blower with a battery when you get it home
The trimmer worked with ALL of my ridgid 18v batteries. The blower has issues regarding battery fitment. Hopefully this is why they're so cheap now.

Use the 4ah battery it came with and push it in hard.

It will break it in and now you are able to use all your rigid batteries.

Worst case it gets stuck or breaks, but you can exchange/refund if it does happen.

My blower didn't fit using one of my older batteries out the box so I took the battery from the same kit and just pushed it in as hard as I can and heard it snap in place.

I got the 40V Ryobi combo around Christmas time for $200. 18v doesn't sounds like enough to power yard equipment. How's do these compare to 40v tools?

Picked one up in San Antonio it rang up $99. There are 4 left before closing. They are not on display. They are high above with the electric weed eaters at Bitters Rd HD

Clearance prices vary store to store. However lately it appears that many items follow similar trends nationwide or at least with same region. From the comments it looks like the majority of people were able to replicate $99 so I would say odds are that is what you will find them for at your local store.
