I use the line trimmer with 4ah batteries, it goes about 30-40 minutes of normal trimming, enough to handle our 1acre lot. If you have it on high and are hitting thick weeds you could probably kill it in 15 minutes

FYI you have to sign in to brickseek now

Brickseek showed one store nearby with "Limited stock"
I found one up top, second overhead shelf. It was yellow-stickered for $229 but rang up $99
Now brickseek shows none nearby.
Good luck hunting

Thanks OP! Been looking for these separately but the combo was definitely better. If anyone still looking for one in Los Angeles, there's 7 more in the Huntington Park location on a pallet on aisle 3 lol

Edit: Confirmed both of my older 4ah batteries fit fine.

Went this morning and they looked it up because I couldn't find it and it showed 1 which they said was probably the display. Thanks anyways!

I actually didn't see any Rigid tools at all.

If this was Milwaukee Id consider. Otherwise not worth for me to break my loyalty to the Ryobi System

If you are not married to the Ridgid system and want a little more performance get the dewalt one on clearance for $200.

I have a lot of Ridgid tools/batteries so this kit works well for me.

I found mine in the lighting clearance section. Sticker said $239 but rings up $99.
Besides the battery size for the dewalt, is it the dewalt set much better than this set ? ridgid is still half price, just debating which one I should pick

I picked up 1 in Milwaukee yesterday. I asked customer service to look up if they had any and they said no. I walked down an aisle in the garden section and they had 2 of them on the floor on a pallet marked for $229. I asked a worker to check the price and he said it showed $249. I took it to the register and it rang up as $99.

I have the older dewalt blower and it performs better than the Ridgid. The ridgid works fine but has fewer CFMs than the dewalt.

Have not tired out the ridgid trimmer yet.

If you have a larger yard/need more airflow go with the dewalt. But since my mechanic tools are ridgid I already have a dozen or more tools and several batteries so easier to just have 1 brand. That and as you said its half the cost. Smilie

I bought this awhile ago but returned it. Most of my ridgid 18v batteries would NOT fit the blower. Newer style, older style. Saw other reviews saying same thing.
I have two of these and the first time I put a battery on both of them it felt more awkward, like it wasn't going to fit, but it does. Just be a bit more assertive. And it was only the first time installing them when it was like that.

Wish there was a version that didn't have a battery; I've already got more of those than I know what to do with (so paying for another is a dealbreaker in my case). Smilie

Thanks OP! My store said 5 in stock, but I was able to find only one on top of the aisle in the regular orange Ridgid box covered in dust. The employee said the other 4 might still be in the brown box they came shipped in. The Ridgid outdoor tools don't even have a normal place in the aisle.
