I use the line trimmer with 4ah batteries, it goes about 30-40 minutes of normal trimming, enough to handle our 1acre lot. If you have it on high and are hitting thick weeds you could probably kill it in 15 minutes

Brickseek showed one store nearby with "Limited stock"
I found one up top, second overhead shelf. It was yellow-stickered for $229 but rang up $99
Now brickseek shows none nearby.

Thanks OP! Been looking for these separately but the combo was definitely better. If anyone still looking for one in Los Angeles, there's 7 more in the Huntington Park location on a pallet on aisle 3 lol

Edit: Confirmed both of my older 4ah batteries fit fine.

Anyone have a picture of the box...is it a normal orange one color images on box or is it all brown box like you get dropped shipped from Rigid? Thanks

Just spotted 6 at the Southcenter HD in Tukwila. Aisle 3, near the top shelf. Had someone grab a ladder to bring me down a box.

Edit: Prior to going, brickseek showed 3 was available.

All of the boxes I saw were retail boxes with full blown pictures/graphics.

My local HDs don't normally carry these Ridgid outdoor power tools, or at least they do not put them out for display. But I decided to check BS anyway, and one of the stores about 20 miles away was advertising qty. 3 in stock on clearance. Figured it was worth the chance so I drove out this morning, and actually saw qty. 4 on the topmost shelf after a bit of hunting.

The person who helped me get it down asked me why I was interested in it because they never put Ridgid tools out for display. I responded that I had a bunch of Ridgid tools/batteries already so it made sense. She took it upon herself to scan the price and I saw her eyes bug out---"wow, great price!" she exclaimed.

Anyway, as her lifter was blocking the aisle, I had go around a back aisle and briefly stopped to look at something else. By the time I got back to the main aisle and passed by the aisle with this package at the far end, she was there with two other HD employees pointing up to the remaining three packages so I am sure they are gone by now.

Anyway, great deal!

Can get a quick $20 for the battery. Just charge it up to test and list on Craigslist. Then its like paying $80 for 2 tools.

Pro tip: ask an associate in an aisle to find it for you, don't go to customer service. Three people at the counter told me they didn't have any in stock, but the associate in the aisle scanned the barcode from Brickseek and found it right away.

I found one in Bellingham, MA. Brickseek said 9 available, but there were only three and now two remaining. MassSave also has a rebate of $30 per tool for a total of $60...Thanks OP

You're the man!! Along with everybody else that said it's just sitting on top shelf in the mower isle.

Wouldn't have found it without this. An associate was so nice and helpful I tipped him

Found one in local HD, it's in the mower / trimmer / blower isle but upper shelf with no price tag etc. Price scanned at $99. The guy helped me pull it down said that's a great deal, and reminded me to register to get the lifetime warranty.

That's true, they are in the orange box. I got one at a store that said qty 5. The HD employee said the other four were probably in the brown cardboard boxes they're shipped in on the top of the aisle. I spoke to another HD employee at a different store, he actually found some on the top shelf in the brown cardboard boxes just like the guy said at the other HD location. I didn't buy them though, so they're still sitting up there.
