Might seem like overkill, but your lungs will thank you. (I did resin pours as well and this was my setup.)
Edit: Don't forget safety goggles!
This is a P100 mask made for OSHA settings and by a reputable manufacture.

What I really want to know is, what makes you so resistant to this 2020 information, which is good news to everyone worried about the efficacy of valved respirators?
By your own admission, valved respirators are about on par with surgical masks. What you fail to understand is that surgical masks are not on par with unvalved n95 masks. The FDA itself makes the differences clear:
"While a surgical mask may be effective in blocking splashes and large-particle droplets, a face mask, by design, it does not filter or block very small particles in the air that may be transmitted by coughs, sneezes, or certain medical procedures. Surgical masks also do not provide complete protection from germs and other contaminants because of the loose fit between the surface of the mask and your face.[...] An N95 respirator is a respiratory protective device designed to achieve a very close facial fit and very efficient filtration of airborne particles. Note that the edges of the respirator are designed to form a seal around the nose and mouth."

No one here is "resistant to" information, but rather to your misinterpretation of that information that isn't the "good news" you seem to think it is.
"….. FFRs with an exhalation valve provide respiratory protection to the wearer and can also reduce particle emissions to levels similar to or better than those provided by surgical masks, procedure masks, or cloth face coverings. This study also shows that modifications to these respirators can further reduce particle emissions. Specifically, the use of an electrocardiogram pad or surgical tape secured over the valve from the inside of the FFR can provide source control similar to that of an FFR with no exhalation valve."
So they protect others better than no mask at all but you have to block the exhalation valve to protect others as well as an n95/100 mask w/o an exhalation valve. During Covid my hospital would not let me in with a valved n100 mask unless I put another mask of theirs over it; rightly so to more fully protect others.
