It depends on if your local code requires full round head nails (21 degree), or if they don't care and allow offset heads (30 degree), or even clipped nail heads (30 degree). If you don't know, sometimes going to your local Home Depot or Lowe's will answer that for you when you find out if they do not stock the 30 degree nail guns or nails.

Also, the 21 degree nails are held together with plastic, so they hold up with better when stored in damp or wet environments (unlikely 30 degree nails, which are held together with paper).

The 21 degrees will leave bits a plastic on the floor as your shoot nails, so it may require a bit more cleanup.

Finally, the 30 degree magazine will allow you to get into some angles a bit better when shooting nails.

Good deal. I paid $125 more for this item when it first came out because I had been waiting on it's release. Works as well as my metabo

Code works for other items but their pricing has been very disappointing since last year. Used to be my go to place when they have deals but now I get better deals from Home Depot combos.

i hope their nail guns gotten much better. i had the 16 and 18 which was purchased 5-6yrs. ago and they were not that great or consistent. Nails didn't always go through. i ended up getting the milwaukee 2nd gen nail gun and it was a much improvement.

No joke? Similar driving mechanics to the metabo? Because my mwtabo absolutely kills those OG DeWalt and others.

Very true, last January was the end of good deals, since then not so much. I haven't bought anything from them since because there hasn't been any deals. Home Depot has 90 day return policies and you can get 10% off coupons or 10% off if your a Veteran. Free shipping and they are nationwide unlike Direct Tools the closest one from me is hundreds of miles away. Lately Home Depot has better deals.
