Few things to note about these:

They don't require the laptop have DP alt mode on the USB-C connector, which can be a plus, but this means the displays are using DisplayLink which is an abstraction layer built up on USB, and uses the CPU and GPU to render these displays in software. Which if your system is decently powerful and has a dedicated GPU, isn't really a huge issue, but if it has only CPU integrated graphics, DisplayLink performance can be quire terrible under certain conditions, like doing anything that's tasking the GPU with even something as "simple" as YouTube playback, and gaming is out of the question.

They're generally fine for most office uses, but gaming is not going to be a fun experience and if you have no dedicated GPU, even watching videos can lead to the display becoming a stuttering mess.

DisplayLink is useful, but it's not a replacement for a true display connection, like docks that connect over DisplayPort alt mode. But if your laptop doesn't have DP Alt Mode, this is the only way you're going to get a docking station, so it does have some uses.

Just a heads up, this is a displaylink dock.

Probably fine for most users and office use. Just be aware it will require additional drivers to output video to an external monitor, and you will not be able to drive dedicated GPU graphics to an external monitor with this dock if that is something you need.

Mine ordered last Friday still "Preparing", not shipped out yet.

Will that be cancelled eventually? I'm in California, could be "Due to location restriction" too?

Just received today. Interesting package--included are four different power cables. Sufficient to cover all different outlet types of the world, I suppose? Included USB-C cable seems solidly built and even has built-in A-to-C adapter.

i received mine.
the sku is DOCK182GLZ-40, is this as same as DOCK182USZ? I do not see DOCK182GLZ-40 this model on Amazon, so it is dual or quad version, 5gb or 10gb, 4k or no?

Amazon has:
dual 10gb 100watt but model is DOCK192USZ
quad 10gb 100watt but model is DOCK182USZ

so what is this DOCK182GLZ-40? it looks identical to DOCK192USZ and DOCK182USZ, but on the manual it is printed Dual 4k docking station, confused.

I got the same. Not happy, I had an order from HP but cancelled and ordered from WMT instead thanks to some person saying better return policy. I'm in California.
