The good old days when these were $5 shipped or $10 shipped for the 30L version.

I still have them and they been through around 30 domestic (US) trips and 10 international trips no issues what so ever and super light weight to pack !!!

I have a number of them, both 20 and 30L, from few Years ago from Eddie when they were frequently around this price subtract extra $10 rewards they would give you and FS.

These are lightweight, folds into pouch easily, and are so usable and they are sturdy for what they are. My only gripe is with 20L one which shapes like pear shape. It makes it harder to reach the bottom for items, if it's full, given its bottleneck in the middle. But not a dealbreaker at all.

I would also go with the 30L one for more of a full size backpack. That also is packable, and very very usable. They may be thin material but still sturdy with sturdy zippers. These are thin material and have no frame or anything, but by no means inferior for normal use.

Yea and they were only worth that lol. I would pay a little over $10 shipped for a 20L right now but at these prices there is no way. "Inflation" yea sure

i totally agree, and wouldn't pay the prices that these are now! like you said max $10 shipped for the 20L and $15 for 30L. However i was mentioning how good they were for the prices then.

Seriously, these things are still the best. They have changed a few things (less reinforcement on the end of the shoulder strap, fabric eyelets instead of plastic) but they are still great. We have half a dozen we use for various things, and my OG one is still as good as day one after hundreds of hikes with it overloaded.

People complaining about it being $20 now either already have too many, or don't know just how good it is. I'd take this over a Daylite everytime, which is double the cost.
