Damn good deal for an 83". It shares the name with the S90C, but it's using an LG WOLED panel.

.gov or edu won't work for this deal. You need to have access to EPP to get the pricing op has mentioned. I can create an epp account for you. Trading $5 amazon. Dm if interested.

Looking for suggestions on a mount. Just moved into a new place and have no idea what's behind my walls at this point. Don't think my glass tv stand will hold this beast.

This one probably?

I like the ability to adjust vertically after install.

Clecked out this one from Monoprice for just over half the price.

I just got the 10% off code after holding on for about 2 days (unsuccessful with other reps).
A rep gave me the 10% off code Sunday 6 PM (2/4/24) CST.
Final came to 2094 (after 10% and 5% referral code) . And 5% CB on top of it.
$1989 (+tax) after CB. Amazing deal. Thanks OP!
Thank you! I tried again and this time the rep offered the 10% discount. Unfortunately I don't think I can use a 5% referral code since I previously made a purchase through my account (and don't think I can create a new EPP account without a different work email address).

I've seen that sanus bracket but it's 3" from the wall. Wasn't sure about the monoprice due to no reviews

Anyone who received the TV, can you comment on the PQ of this TV?
I have this tv for 2 days now wall mounted (sanus preferred tilt mount from costco) with my Q950A soundbar. Picture Quality is good comparable to Lg C3 83 (which I returned because was expensive). C3 was little better in my opinion . Still exploring picture settings for Samsung. Standard settings are pretty bright for daylight with plenty of light. For night movie mode is better as Standard is too bright

Why would you think this 83'' would be better than C3? It uses the same panel as C3.

I would expect LG to have a better implementation for their own panel. Are there anything in the specs/literature that would indicate otherwise?

LG's Image processor is better, specially when upscaling. Same happens with the 77in Samsung S95C and Sony A95L. Both are using a Samsung QD-OLED Panel but the Sony's XR Clear Image processor and Color Calibration out of the box are way better than Samsung's and the differences between those 2 TVs is day and night.

W-OLED colors de-saturates at high brightnesses, and so it looks a bit faded in some scenes. The samsung 77 inch and below is QD-oled, no white pixel to desaturate. For example a really bright red on Woled would look pinkish.
so what you're saying is QD OLED is better than W OLED? Are those two the only types of OLED panels, and are the differences marginal? I'll be 8ft away from the screen, minimum (if that helps). Thanks!

Did anyone else get the mounting service and when they delivered refused to mount it? They said someone else mounts it but after the delivered it I got a service completion email about it being mounted.
It is a separate company that schedules a gig worker to come and install. YMMV on the quality/knowledge of the installer.

Is there a way for the tv to automatically change modes at night or do you have to do it manually every time?

A lot depends on the content you are watching

Setting Dynamic Picture mode will boost the brightness and HDR is already bright and beautiful. I have another LG Oled and this is a huge improvement.

So far happy with the quality
